No Fear Dentistry

This dental practice was recommended to me by a friend & I cannot sing enough praises about Madison No Fear Sun Prairie. I’ve seen Dr. Andre & Dr. Theran, both of whom are amazing clinicians. But what truly sets this office apart is the human care that runs through every interaction I’ve had as a patient. I’ve been regularly working with Dr. Andre in particular over the past four months & have consistently witnessed him going out of his way to make patients feel seen. I know how busy he is, & even if I’m just in for an office visit, he always takes a moment to say hello. When under his direct care, I’ve found that he has an incredible way of putting people at ease, & his calm presence makes a huge difference, especially for patients like me who come in anxious. (Also, a fun & unexpected bonus: a few years back he recommended Cyberpunk, which has since become my favorite video game. That small, human connection meant more than he probably realizes. Thanks choom!) The clinical team members I’ve worked with (Kennedy, Robin, Annie, & Kelsie) are all wonderful, but I want to specifically highlight Robin. She has been truly exceptional, going above & beyond in ways that feel both professional & deeply kind. Dentistry is an incredibly vulnerable experience, & she has an innate ability to create a sense of safety & calm. I didn’t receive consistent dental care as a child, & I had a traumatic experience involving multiple teeth being pulled & a painful novocaine injection to the roof of my mouth after a local anesthetic was forgotten. That fear stayed with me for decades. Together, Robin & Dr. Andre have genuinely helped “cure” much of this fear. I never imagined I’d feel this way about dental care, or that my anxiety around it would decrease so significantly. I also want to recognize the front office team members (Brooke, Brandi, Dawn, & Gina). I have a demanding job with standard business hours & can’t always take phone calls, & when you’re in dental pain the last thing you want to deal with is phone tag. They’ve been incredibly accommodating, welcoming texted questions so my workday isn’t disrupted & I can arrive with everything needed for my appointment (an audiobook helped during a recent two hour visit). As someone who has run a busy medical reception desk myself, I know how stressful that role can be, & yet I am always greeted with warmth, kindness, & professionalism. During urgent situations, the response has consistently been: “Let’s get you in.” That reassurance means everything. This practice has transformed how I feel about dental care. What once felt terrifying now feels manageable. That’s not something I ever thought I’d experience. If you’re someone with dental anxiety, a complicated history, or simply want to be treated with compassion & respect, this is the place. I am deeply grateful for every person on this team. They are SO good at their jobs!

as someone with high dental anxiety and incredibly bad oral health from a combo of crap genetics & crap parents, I historically struggle with dealing with dental professionals - an issue only made worse with interactions with many of them. not the case here! I called in for an emergency extraction causing pain & swelling. they got me in same day and it was genuinely the best dental experience I have EVER had. their communication was clear and compassionate. they wanted to get me in for future work but focused on the problem I initially presented as first priority. they checked in on whether to remove 2 additional teeth along the way and gave me the additional price, and it never felt like I was being pressured or coerced. they gave me space to discuss with my partner for finances. they asked for AND listened when I gave feedback on the work and my status as they went and adjusted accordingly. I was offered a warm blanket 2x as well as headphones (tho I had my own earbud). it didn't feel hyper clinical, instead feeling fairly cozy. also they had a tv on the ceiling playing flying drone & underwater videos which was a cool thing to focus on when my anxiety spiked. wonderful experience & definitely intend to continue my future oral care with them.

I had a really great experience with Dr. Andre and Kelsie when I met with them yesterday. They explained the process of what they were going to do to repair my tooth and made sure I was well taken care of throughout the entire process. I have had bad experiences at other dental offices and it is nice to know that there are actually people out there that care.

The No Fear density team are excellent. Courteous, Professional and they Listen. Their upfront prices estimates are accurate & worth the exceptional service. Dr Beck and her team are wonderful. Detailed explanations of why a procedure should or shouldn’t be done - no pressure, just the facts. Highly recommend this Team for both your long term health & immediate resolution to your dental problem .

Dr. Andre is the best. Actually all of the dentists at No Fear are fabulous. I have terrible dental anxiety and they do everything to ease my concerns and make it a comfortable experience. They are so thorough and great at explaining everything. Also, the girls that work there are so kind, helpful and personable and they always remember me! I no longer dread going to the dentist!! The best dentist I’ve been to my entire life and I can’t say enough good things about the entire practice!
