I’ve waited over a year to see if my distress over my experience with Dr Boland’s extreme unprofessionalism would ease. It hasn’t. This man and his office have no business caring for cancer patients. Before he even entered the room and mind you he had never met or spoken to me before about anything let alone my wishes for my care and my body, the medical assistant barged in “you’re getting implants! How do you feel about that?!” It got even better when he came in and reiterated that implants were the plan and it didn’t matter what I wanted - it quickly became clear he hadn’t read the medical record and had come up with a surgical plan for someone else entirely. “We’ll do implants at the time of your mastectomy, it’s a small tumor and no radiation”. No, it’s a >6cm tumor, (it took weeks to get the consult, and even then I had to push because they tried to schedule it even further out! If I’d known how worthless it would be I would’ve absolutely not wasted the time waiting given how scared I was facing stage 3 cancer in my 30s) and rad onc told me I hit the trifecta - young age, multiple lymph nodes affected, large primary tumor - not a question in any other docs mind radiation would be a must. Also expect him to make quippy one liners - “I can’t give you twins but they will be sisters” and “you’ll look fine with implants, big girls don’t but you will!” And use his own wife’s cancer in a misguided attempt to build rapport. I talked the experience over with multiple plastic surgeons who apologized for him and said not to let him touch me with a 10-foot pole. So glad I paid a hefty copay to watch a video, have everything about my cancer minimized, and time wasted that may affect my long term survival. Ladies do what you will with this info.

I had a Rhino-septoplasty with Dr. de Brux a couple months ago. It was such a great experience, compared to my past experiences. The staff is so kind and makes sure the process is so smooth. I am finally so happy and able to breathe!! I had multiple appointments to discuss my problems and make a game plan for surgery. The appointments were worth the long wait! I know a year seems like a long time, but good things take a while!!🤭

I visited your facility yesterday with the intention of consulting with an injector about a previous Botox treatment I received at another clinic. Unfortunately, I left the appointment feeling disappointed and discouraged. Rather than focusing on creating a treatment plan or providing guidance, the injector spent most of the consultation pointing out perceived flaws in my appearance. I was advised to return in a month and simply wait it out, which I was willing to do. I even offered to pay for the consultation time. However, the overall tone of the interaction felt dismissive and lacking in compassion. As a professional hairstylist, I understand the importance of appointments, time management, and client care. I work closely with clients every day, and I was surprised by the absence of bedside manner during my visit. The experience left me feeling disrespected and hurt. Regrettably, I will be seeking care elsewhere, as I did not feel valued or supported during my time at your facility. The facility was nice and very clean! (I can state the positive)!

I had a wonderful experience at Carolina plastics and Aesthetics. The staff was friendly when I arrived and I can’t speak highly enough of Cora. She is the sweetest and has a very welcoming aura! The ambience is inviting and comfortable. I’ve had a great outcome with my services. Cannot wait to go back!
