Fountain City Dental Care

Run as far away as you can! I was seen towards the end of 2025 by the son dentist, to have some cavities filled. Shortly after having them filled, 3 of them popped out ALL IN THE SAME WEEK. I wasn’t eating anything hard, they just all fell out. I called the week before Christmas and they were closed. So I called the after hours number instead. The son called me back and said that he was on vacation but maybe his dad could fix them when they were back in the office in January. So, I called back. The soonest they could get me in was a week and a half later (mind you, I have 3 gaping holes in my teeth). That date was the only date that wouldn’t work for me, as I have an important drs appointment to be at with my wife. They have no other appointments to offer. So here we are, several weeks later, with no resolution to fix their shoddy work. This has been a very disheartening experience for me. I put off my dental work so I could pay for the medical and dental care my children needed. And then when I was finally ready to take care of my own teeth, I received terrible results. So now, I’ve made an appointment with my previous dentist to fix my teeth, who is awesome, just more expensive. (I got an appointment the next day btw). And I will be paying him to redo their faulty work. And as far as professionalism goes: The front office is nice and helpful when you make your first appointment. But once they find out you’ve had a problem due to their faulty dentistry practices, there are no smiles to be found! They are not helpful to fix the mess they made. What a shame! This office is a stain on the reputation of dental offices in the Knoxville area. I will not be back (even to “fix” their work). Now I’m just stuck paying another dentist to correct what was a very straightforward job.

We have been patients of Stan Pozega for many years!! He and Mark are always professional and caring. Their staff is also excellent.

If I could give Fountain City Dental Care 10 stars I would! Dentists, hygienists and office staff are caring, efficient, friendly and above all, great at what they do. Highly recommend.

Absolute best dentist there is! Dr.pozega is gentle, takes his time, numbs well, and checks with his patients to Make sure they are comfortable regularly. He gave me my mouth back and is the first and only dentist I trust with mine and my family's mouth. I think he would be wonderful for children switching over to an adult dentist or anyone who is scared of dental work specifically because of how gentle and aware he is. His entire staff is wonderful! I've been coming here a few years now and never had a single issue.
