I have always had a great experience here! Everyone is very kind and friendly. I had a couple fillings done by Dr. Slack and the work was exceptional. I'm never a fan of shots, but I could not even tell that I got one when I had them done. The follow up afterwards was also excellent. Everyone here genuinely cares about you when you are their patient and afterwards.

I am so happy to speak about my experience with the South Knox Dental team. I have had nothing but positive experiences with this office. They are very family oriented and care about thier patients. I have received calls checking in on me after any procedure and received cards from the South Knox dental family to let me know that they care. They are knowledgeable about my dental care and have a great financial plan that will suit everyones financial situation. The atmosphere is great and your not sitting all day to see your hygienist. I love this office. I have went to dozens of dental offices in my lifetime and truly appreciate the personalized experience. They know me by name and make me feel like I am important. My dental hygienist Jennifer is wonderful. She treats me like she truly cares.

South Knox Dental Review Wednesday, December 17th was an extremely nerve-wracking day for my wife. She was scheduled to undergo dental surgery for a severe infection beneath an old root canal. Two years ago, we visited another dentist in Knoxville who told her she had multiple cavities and several other issues. Something did not feel right, and we chose not to return. After extensive research, we found South Knox Dental on Chapman Highway and scheduled a consultation with Dr. Slack. From the very beginning, my wife was taken aback by the kindness, professionalism, and genuine care shown by the entire staff. During that first visit, she met Laura, the amazing office manager she immediately connected with; Lori at the front desk, whose warmth and welcoming personality set the tone; and Lindsey, Dr. Slack’s dental assistant, who was attentive and reassuring throughout the process. After a thorough exam and cleaning, my wife was relieved to learn she had no cavities. More importantly, they identified a serious infection that had previously gone undetected. When surgery day arrived, my wife was understandably anxious—but it was clear how comfortable and supported she felt walking into South Knox Dental. The entire team went above and beyond to help her relax and feel safe. While there was pain afterward, as expected with any surgery, the compassion shown throughout the procedure was remarkable. Laura checked in on my wife multiple times, ensuring she was doing okay. I have rarely witnessed that level of care. They even allowed me to sit beside my wife and hold her hand during the procedure, which meant more to us than we can express. We feel incredibly blessed to have found such a compassionate, professional, and trustworthy dental office. We cannot recommend South Knox Dental highly enough.

Whenever I choose a doctor, a dentist, a hairstylist or a mechanic I chose carefully! I want to be loyal to them. I don’t want to jump around and always be trying to find someone new. It really is a long term relationship. A couple months ago I went to several dentist and got quotes on a lot of tooth work. I don’t have insurance and need thousands and thousands of dollars of work over a couple years to get my mouth back on track. They actually beat the other quotes I had, BUT that is not why I chose them. They are far from me. (I live in Halls) I chose them because of the staff. You can tell the Destist is sharp and is on top of his game. And the office workers and dental assistants are very personable and you can tell they care. You aren’t just a dollar bill to them. As of writing this I am about 5 visits in and it’s going great! I highly recommend them!
