True Dental - Chattanooga

I have to say, out of all the dentists I’ve been to in my life, this one is by far the BEST. Not only did they squeeze me in for a last-minute dental emergency, but every single person there was incredibly friendly. I didn’t encounter one person who didn’t greet me with a smile. They get a 20/10 for customer service. The dentist herself was wonderful. What I appreciated most was that she didn’t try to sell me a bunch of unnecessary work. She simply explained what I actually needed and offered suggestions...no pressure at all. At other dental offices, I’ve always felt pushed into extra procedures I didn’t need, so that meant a lot. And I have to give a special shoutout to the dental hygienist, Becky. She was hands down the best I’ve ever encountered. I get very nervous going to the dentist because of some bad past experiences, and Becky actually sat and talked with me until the dentist came in. That small act of kindness made such a big difference. Even when they went over billing, they were honest and straightforward. They explained what they recommended, what my insurance covers and doesn’t cover, and what optional things I could choose to do if I wanted. No pressure...just information. Honestly, it’s probably one of the most affordable dental offices I’ve ever been to. The office itself was beautiful, spotless, and very organized. Absolutely hands down the best dental experience I’ve ever had, and this will definitely be my dentist from here on out. I can’t brag on them enough! 😊

Every person I have encountered in this office is warm and kind. Their patient care is top notch; great bedside manner and gentle when preforming procedures. They make sure you are comfortable and that all your needs are met.

My family started going to True Dental when our dentist, Dr. Thompson, joined the group. We noticed that service started to slip after they moved to their new office on Gunbarrel Rd. The last three visits my husband and I have had, we've been called back 25-30 minutes past our scheduled appointment time. It's frustrating to arrive 10-15 minutes early, then see everyone that arrived after you called back before you are. As many times as they call, e-mail, and text with appoinment reminders, I expect them to honor my time and be prompt as well. But most frustrating is the lack of communication of Dr. Thompson's departure. I visited him in September, with a follow up the next week. I was surprised that a different dentist performed the procedure. When I asked, I was only told that Dr. Thompson was no. longer with True Dental. My husband called before his visit a few months later asking who his denist would be, but was only told the practice had several dentists. He didn't find out who his dentist was until he was in the room. There has never been any formal communcation about the change. We are looking for another dentist with a smaller office that provides more personal service and values their patients.

Excellent service! My hygienist did an excellent job on cleaning my teeth. She explained each step and gave me some advice on taking care of my teeth. Plus, I met a new dentist today and she was very nice. She also explained some things about my teeth. I was very pleased with the service I received.

I have true dental trauma from childhood. I am a 54 year old cry baby. The smell when I walk in makes me physically ill. Dr. Sanford walked in and I was already crying. I have a hurting tooth. She was absolutely amazing. She immediately made a connection with me when she noticed dog hair on me and eased my mind immediately talking of our fur babies. She was so thorough and took all the time I needed to reassure me and help me make the best decisions. Hands down the best dental experience of my life!
