As a self-proclaimed spa girly who makes it her mission to find the best spa in any city, whether I’m traveling domestically or internationally, I had high hopes for this facility. Visually, it is absolutely stunning. Truly one of the most gorgeous spa environments I’ve ever stepped into. Unfortunately, the beauty of the space was overshadowed by several disappointing experiences. To start, the staff in the back area lacked warmth. The energy felt unwelcoming. That alone already dampened the experience. My massage only made things worse. My masseuse smelled strongly of cigarettes, which was immediately off-putting in a wellness setting. Beyond that, the massage itself was subpar. Despite communicating my needs clearly, she didn’t tailor the treatment at all. I left feeling exactly the same as when I walked in, which is not what you hope for after a professional massage. On top of that, I noticed that their tipping system felt misleading. What they present as a standard 20% tip actually sits closer to 30–40% once you calculate it. It really feels like they rely on guests either not doing the math or rushing through checkout without noticing. Lastly, the amenities had a noticeable mildew smell unless you sprayed the eucalyptus mist, which made it seem like the mist was being used to mask an underlying issue rather than enhance the experience. Overall, this spa has the potential to be exceptional given how beautiful the facility is, but the environment and attention to detail fell below my expectations. I truly hope they address these issues, because right now, the flaws outweigh the good for me.

This is my new go to for a spa day pass. It is extremely relaxing and the staff are all absolutely wonderful. I love the hibiscus margarita and the chai smoothie. Already trying to decide when I can go again.

I really hate being this person, but my experience here was unfortunately not great — specifically the time before and after my spa day. I booked a massage for my 25th birthday, along with three additional massages and four day passes for my friends. I was instructed by the party coordinator not to book as a party but to book individually, which I did. I never signed a party contract. Everything went smoothly for about two weeks — until the week of the event. That week, the coordinator emailed me saying that the girls with day passes would now only have a three-hour window. I was confused since a “day pass” should clearly mean full-day access. When I called the spa, I was told over the phone that a day pass is indeed valid for the entire day. But when I clarified that we were part of a group that day, they said the three-hour limit was only for my group due to “all the burners being in town.” It felt inconsistent and unprofessional, and honestly, a bit deceitful. Thankfully, I had written email confirmation that our passes were for the full day. However, when I spoke with the coordinator about it, she was dismissive, short, and frankly rude. Later that week, she reached out during my work hours asking for robe and shoe sizes for everyone. I sent that info as soon as I could, but when we arrived, the front desk still didn’t have it. I had to show them screenshots and airdrop the details — not a huge issue by itself, but frustrating on top of everything else. To add to the confusion, my massage wasn’t the one I booked. By the time I realized, it was too late to change because, as my masseuse mentioned, the type I originally selected required a custom oil blend that should’ve been prepared earlier. It was disappointing, especially for a birthday I’d been looking forward to. Then after the visit, I received my receipt and discovered I’d been overcharged by $100 and charged under a party contract I never signed. On top of that, there was an automatic gratuity included, even though everyone in my group had already tipped the bartender separately and again on the bill. In the end, what should’ve been a relaxing, celebratory day turned into a stressful back-and-forth with the spa and my bank. The setting itself is beautiful, but the communication and professionalism leading up to and following our visit were really disappointing — especially for something as special as a birthday celebration.

Best. Massage. Ever. Brooke at Dolce Vita knows exactly what she’s doing. Perfect pressure, super professional, and I feel like a brand new person!

Great spa. The entire staff very pleasant and kind. They only have one small hot tub. This would be a 10 star place if they had 2 more hot tubs and a plunge pool. Still all in all a great place to spend an afternoon being pampered.
