I had an amazing experience at Permanent Makeup School of Virginia! The training was thorough, hands-on, and truly empowering. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, making sure you build both skill and confidence. I left feeling prepared and inspired to launch my own PMU business. Highly recommend for anyone serious about starting a career in permanent makeup!

Enrolling at the Permanent Makeup School of Virginia was a great decision and it was amazing to have the option of a hybrid class format. The staff team are professional, passionate, highly educated and talented artists in addition to being excellent instructors. The program is well organized and very thorough to prepare you for licensure testing; I learned a great deal in addition to the practical portion of the program. My instructor, Sarah is amazing and I have a lot of respect for her. She cares deeply about the industry, the school's program, her clients and her student's success. Also a shout out to Anna who made the enrollment process easy and answered all my many questions. Overall, if you're looking for a permanent makeup program to prepare you to become licensed, I would highly recommend the PMU School of Virginia. Serious learning, topnotch instructors, professional, ethical and good vibes that make for a fun collaborative environment. In my class I got to meet and grow with a wonderful group of women who were all supportive of each other. Awesome experience. Thank you for everything!

I recently completed my training at PMUSchool of VA, and I can confidently say it was one of the best educational experiences of my life! They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the classroom, and their passion for permanent makeup is evident in every lesson. They are not only skilled artists but also phenomenal teachers who take the time to ensure that every student understands the techniques and the science behind them. Their personalized feedback and encouragement helped me gain confidence in my abilities. The curriculum was comprehensive and well-structured, covering everything from the fundamentals of skin anatomy and color theory to advanced techniques in eyebrow tattooing, eyeliner, and lip blush. The hands-on training was invaluable, allowing me to practice on a model and latex under the watchful eye of my instructors, who provided constructive critiques and tips for improvement. The school instilled in me the importance of client care and safety, which I consider crucial as I embark on my career in this field. I also appreciated the focus on business skills, which has equipped me to not only be a great artist but also to effectively manage my own practice. Overall, I am incredibly grateful for the education I received here. I’ve seen Anna for a permanent makeup service (combination brows) back in 2021. She was exceptionally professional and did a wonderful job. Naturally, I received so many compliments that all I could do was continuously refer everyone to Sarah’s studio. I finally got my brows touched up this year. As we were preparing to start my appointment, I received some pretty life altering news. Anna graciously offered to reschedule my appointment but I declined since it was the only time that would work with my schedule. The entire time, Anna was so patient with me. Again, she did such a great job on my service. This time, I won’t wait another three years between my touch-ups. If you have found yourself with Sarah and her staff for one of the many services offered, you’re in the right place. The studio is spacious and clean with knowledgeable and professional staff.

I had the best experience at the PMU School of VA! The instructors are phenomenal and I feel like I learned so much. I researched other schools in the area and their instructors and this school HANDS down had the most experience and their credentials are off the charts. Do your research people! You are tattooing someone’s face. I love that they offer unlimited support no matter what, to all of their students and alumni. If I ever need to go shadow them or have a question, they are always responsive. Sarah, Michell, and Anna are the GOAT.
