I was so excited to be a part of a naturopathic approach to health and medicine. I have been a member of PHW since the start and absolutely loved the mission and quality of care at the beginning however the last year and half to 2 years I have been frustrated. It is extremely hard to schedule an appointment as the providers are booked out 6+ months in advance. I have tried scheduling my well women's exam for the next year when I complete the current however they will not allow advanced scheduling so you have to hope and pray you can get in within a reasonable manner. When I do go in I am always left waiting in the lobby then again in the office for 20-40 minutes. I understand some patients may run long but this is a consistent theme and time is extremely valuable to me. The final draw was this year - I booked a bone density and dexa scan early in the year. I was told that Dr. Davis would reach out to me however I didn't hear back over the course of weeks so I followed up. The nurse scheduled a call with Dr. Davis. The day of the call he was not prepared, we had small talk then he asked me what this appointment was for. The communication is completely broken in this office. In addition to this instance, I had my well women appointment scheduled with Joleen who I have absolutely loved in the past. This visit was much different than others. The visit became a therapy session over something that I am not seeing this office for. I asked 3 times during the visit if we could please complete my well women's exam for 2 reasons: 1. I do not have time to come back - I was in the office and needing my annual check up 2. It is impossible to get in with Joleen without waiting months. Joleen ran out of time with her nurses knocking on the door as a sign she needed to end the appointment at least 3 times. I asked one last time to do the well women's exam and so she did a quick sonogram and suggested we re-schedule the rest. I left beyond frustrated. My mom has metastatic breast cancer and does not have the BRCA gene. The office knows this and knows my concern in this area. I spoke about pain that I have had in my left breast (which has been on ongoing issue) so was left with no other option but to reschedule. I didn't do so right away because of the frustration however the pain continued so I call to get in with the first available which was a few weeks out. The day came for my appointment (and my personal schedule was busy but I was trying to fit it in with their availability) I waited for 15 mins which is not an absurd amount of time but from my past experiences I knew I would most likely wait another 15 mins in the office once called back so I left to get on with my other responsibilities for the day. It is truly a disappointment that the quality of care has suffered so much because I want to see a provider with a naturopathic approach.

Dr Marvin and all of the staff here are all amazing. Dr Marvin always makes sure to spend the full hour with you and is genuinely interested in getting to the bottom of your issues. She has helped me more than any other doctor I've gone to. Their office is always immaculate and decorated nicely, and everyone that works there is just so friendly and helpful.

BAD! I believe the idea behind this, to avoid Insurance's red tape, was good. The facility is beautiful and peaceful... however, in addition to the monthly membership fee (not cheap), I was hit with additional costs each time they did bloodwork. And if I needed anything beyond a simple checkup, I was sent to another doctor... more costs. Why I finally left? I went in for 3 issues: A tick bite, a painful foot after dropping a fairly goodsized rock on it and a spot on my right breast. I could FEEL the doctor's condescension as she dismissed each one. I shouldn't worry about the tick bite, my foot was just bruised, and the spot on my breast was "ringworm." What happened, though. 1The tick bite developed a bullseye rash (I had Lyme years ago), and I ended up on Doxicyclin for a month. 2.My foot developed a hematoma, that eventually burst, scaring the daylights out of me. More antibiotics. 3.The spot on my right breast? It wasn't ringworm, so the antifungal did nothing. At the time, I asked for a mammogram, which came back "Clear," but the doctor said I'd have to see a specialist if i wanted a "scraping" done to get a more accurate diagnosis because they don't do that at their clinic either. That was in May. I used the antifungal religiously, but I'm now seeing a specialist because the spot continued to grow, then I developed a lump. I hope and pray it's just a cyst. Thanks guys for taking me seriously. Oh! The reason I initially joined? I was SICK! I had just moved up from Texas, bought a house with a well and drank the water that supposedly tested safe. It wasn't. It was loaded with the coliform bacteria and I was thrown into kidney failure with an eGfr of 32. During my 1st visit, I was so sick I was shaking with chills and had to leave the exam room to run for the restroom. She, the PA, didn't seem too concerned... until she got my bloodwork back, which, of course, cost me an additional $189, I believe... and then she sent me to a specialist. I loved the infusions, though. It's a great place if you can afford the $120 a month membership, and just kinda want a spa experience. Otherwise? RUN! Please excuse any typos. I recently had cateract surgery. Vision is still a little off.

The place looked very nice, welcoming, and had a calm atmosphere. All of the staff were very friendly. I just had a New Patient visit. It cost $275. If you are pretty sure that you're not going to join their monthly membership, then I would say don't bother going to a New Patient appt. I did appreciate that the doctor wasn't in a hurry, listened to me and didn't hurry me along. My appointment took about 1.5 hrs or so. I was disappointed to find that my $275 fee basically included taking my vitals and a long get to know you session. I can sign up for $70-80/mo membership (for minimum 12 months) which includes follow up visits and more, but if I don't sign up then I pay for labs, a Dexa scan, follow up visits, etc. I had thought that the first NP visit would have included some labs, Dexa scan, or something other than a get to know you session and advice I already know. I feel like I just wasted $275 to just be told to eat healthy. I don't want to slam this business or these people. They all were very kind! I was just quite disappointed.

The best office in town. I’ve yet to meet a healthcare professional more empathetic, knowledgeable, and willing to listen than those on staff here. They’re willing to listen to your questions and concerns, don’t rush you out of their office, and treat you with a level of respect that you don’t always find at a doctor’s office. 10/10 would recommend; I can’t say enough about them.
