I had breast reduction surgery and liposuction under my arms with Dr. Joseph Poggi, and I can truly say he changed my life. At 25, I was struggling with discomfort and insecurity, but now I feel confident, free, and can even go braless- something I never imagined would be possible (formerly a 40G now a small 38C) Dr. Poggi has an amazing sense of humor (he honestly reminds me of Rick from Rick and Morty) which made the process feel so much more comfortable and comedic. Beyond that, he delivers culturally competent care. He took the time to explain all options to me, including the risks of a free nipple graft (FNG) as a darker-skinned patient. He warned me that the graft might not retain its natural color and could leave me with pink nipples, so we avoided that route - and still achieved the smaller size and beautiful results I wanted. His skill, honesty, and compassion rebuilt my confidence in a way I will always be grateful for. I would recommend Dr. Poggi to anyone — not only for his surgical expertise, but also for the way he treats his patients with respect, care, and humor.

Armed with a very good recommendation and a thorough all questions answered first consultation I chose Dr. Poggi to perform my belt lipectomy in November 2016. My first impression was that he was honest and took my concerns seriously. As I sat across from him I thought this man is someone I can trust. He did not disappoint and I am blown away by the results. He is an excellent surgeon and a true artist in the world of plastic surgery.
