I’ve been taking my daughter to Wichita Family Dental for the last six years, and they’ve always taken great care of her. Recently, I finally decided it was time to catch up on my own dental hygiene. I’ve been to several dentists over the years and worked with many hygienists, so I never really thought about being loyal to just one—until now. Courtney has absolutely earned my loyalty. She is truly the best. A perfectionist in the most caring way, she is so considerate of her patients and has the softest, smoothest touch. Getting my teeth cleaned by her is actually relaxing. Her bedside manner is incredible, too. Honestly, I’ll go wherever she goes. Wichita Family Dental West needs to find her an assistant and give her a raise so she never leaves. They’re a great dental company overall—you can tell by how busy they are and how well they know their patients. I’d give more than five stars if I could.

Wichita Family Dental is by far the best dentist office I’ve been to. I was met with extreme kindness by everyone I have encountered. Michelle has been so kind and thoughtful each time I’ve seen her. She has definitely made this process sooooo much easier. 100/10 highly recommend.

I scheduled a 9:00 a.m. appointment and arrived on time, expecting the office to honor the scheduled time or at least provide communication if there were delays. Unfortunately, I waited until 10:17 a.m. without being seen. During that time, I observed two to three individuals being taken back ahead of me with no explanation from staff. While the front desk employee repeatedly apologized and mentioned that Saturdays are busy, the lobby had only one other couple waiting and one individual waiting on a patient in the back. The apologies felt routine rather than accompanied by any meaningful effort to address the situation or provide clarity. I consider myself a patient and understanding person. I fully understand occasional delays of 30–45 minutes, especially in healthcare. However, waiting well over an hour with no proactive communication, no status update, and no clear explanation is unacceptable. Professionalism includes respecting patients’ time and keeping them informed. I work Monday through Friday, 8–5, and intentionally scheduled this Saturday appointment to avoid taking time off work. Instead, I lost nearly two hours that could have been spent with my family. Due to this experience and the lack of attentiveness shown, I will be canceling my upcoming appointments and seeking a dental office that places greater value on communication and respect for patients’ time.

My family and I love this dentist office! We go for a cleaning every 6 months and it's always a pleasant visit! The staff are always friendly and attentive. Our favorite hygienist, Ashley, is ALWAYS fantastic! She is so great handling my 2 year old's appt and always calms my significant others dental anxiety! She's the best and we're so glad that she works Saturdays! Also, love that this office does Saturday appointments. It's such a relief and makes our dentist appointments that much easier to schedule and make

This was my first time visiting the office, and I was paying out of pocket (no insurance). I was able to get a last-minute appointment, which I appreciated. The office is clean, modern, and well equipped, and the staff was professional and thorough. My first visit included X-rays, explanations, and a detailed discussion of my dental condition. I was quoted roughly $1,500 for a full-mouth cleaning, and they explained that prices can vary based on the work needed. (Before they could start anything else with my crowns and bridges)I agreed to start with the left side, which I expected to cost around $750. Put a 35 deposit down and showed up next morning. My second visit involved more X-rays and pictures, costing $190, and I put down a $35 deposit toward the visit. The office said the deposit could be applied to my treatment (or so I thought im not sure now ) if I decided to proceed, but I wasn’t sure how it would work since I chose not to continue after all. Once I realized the cost of crowns and a bridge would be around $7,000 roughly with additional fees or prices potentially bringing the total closer to what i assumed $7,500–$8k, I decided to explore other options. I’m not sure if it was just me, but it might have been more appealing to offer an out of pocket payment plan for cash patients. I would have loved the option to put down a deposit and make monthly payments, as paying nearly $500 for two visits with only X-rays and consultation felt like a lot. Overall, it’s a professional and well-run office with excellent equipment, but the pricing is on the high end, and it wasn’t the right fit for me as an out-of-pocket patient. Insurance may make it more suitable for others. My review is as honest as It could be and hope later on there's more options for better pricing new patients and more payment plans and not sure how the deposit would work after all but wife will call and find out thanks. Have great day and hope this helps some people and staff.
