Family Dental Center Wilmington

I came in for a deep cleaning on the right side and was scheduled to return for the second half of the procedure. My follow-up appointment was scheduled for Friday after the first snowstorm. Despite the weather, I made the effort to come in. I had difficulty finding parking and had to circle the block until a spot became available. When I finally arrived, I was informed by the receptionist that my second deep cleaning appointment had been canceled and that I had been called. That is not accurate. I have the office number saved in my phone and did not receive any calls or messages regarding a cancellation. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I have already paid for part of the procedure, and now I am left waiting for a cancellation to complete medically necessary treatment. If I am forced to restart treatment elsewhere and pay again for a full deep cleaning, this situation will be escalated to my insurance provider. I understand that weather and scheduling issues can arise, but communication and honesty are critical. Clients should not be inconvenienced or misinformed after making the effort to keep their appointment. I am requesting that this matter be resolved promptly and that my remaining deep cleaning be completed as originally planned.

Love this place. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I see Dr Patel and Miss Tina and they are both competent and professional. Explains what they're doing, encouraging of good habits. They do not shame! Highly recommend!

Really friendly staff. Nice homely feeling in the atmosphere. Explained my treatment, answered all of my questions. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. Definitely would recommend this dental office if you’re looking for a dentist.

Exceptional services. Clean office and friendly staff. Short wait times. This office is professional. Excellent cleaning provided. Thorough initial intake done with multiple types of imaging and assessments. They took great care of us. My two year old loved his appointment as well. He especially loved picking out a tattoo from the treasure box afterwards. Thanks for offering a great service to our community!
