DO NOT GO HERE. I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT. MY DENTIST WAS Dr. David A. Lewis. i went to cresent dental after searching and searching for a dentist office that accepted my insurance and had good reviews. i trusted their business and hoped that all would turn out fine. The desk lady’s customer service was great, no complaints. its the dentist (Dr. David) i have an issue with. I went in to get fillings done, and instead of walking out of the dentist with LESS holes in my teeth, i walked out with more??? They successfully filled my fillings, but drilled a hole into my upper tooth that had NO ISSUES WITH IT. ZERO. i’m assuming the drill accidentally went into my tooth. It wasn’t a cavity, it was a literal perfect circle hole from a drill, right after i left their office. it’s unbelievable that they couldnt take accountability no matter if it was an accident or not. This is absolutely INSANE and im so upset because now i have more damage to my teeth, when the dentist is supposed to help you heal and prevent damage. I now have anxiety and trust issues about going back to dentist offices. Also, now the original hole (made by a drill) is now deeper and has worsen, which wouldve never happened if i didnt go here. NEVER EVER GO HERE.

In my soon-to-be 60 years of receiving dental care, I have never felt more cared for and supported by EVERY person I have crossed paths with! From the moment I arrive and am greeted at the reception desk until I get the parking ticket validated and schedule my next visit, every moment feels like I am with old friends. There was a major point of anxiety that I was having around a procedure, and once again, the level of professionalism, courtesy, and care made everything flow smoothly! I have not had a single unpleasant experience (other than the drilling lol). I had an opportunity to relocate and said no because I did not want to lose my dental family and other healthcare professionals who have successfully kept me smiling, walking, and living! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would most certainly give 100+, and I would vote to give everyone a raise!

I Love Dr G, he's been my guy since 2017. But his gatekeeper is terrible. She told me, a loyal patient we can't make any further appointments because I missed 5 appointments. I drive a truck & when breaks down it leaves me stranded...the gatekeeper got hostile as if I don't respect my guys time.I was blocked from making future appointments. I communicated each miss. New dentist, new connection. Update! The office manager Stephane called & got me an appointment the same day, I really appreciate her & Dr.G was his usual amazing self, a true dental artist!

I want to preface this by saying, I have been a patient at Crescent Dental(Riverfront) for just under 15yrs. The service here used to be immaculate. Maybe the last 2yrs, I haven’t been satisfied with the customer service, and most recently the work that was done on my mouth is what prompted me to seek dental work elsewhere. I’ll start with my scheduled appointments the last 3 times. My son and I go every 6 months for our cleaning. The last 3 pre-scheduled appointments, I was called and rescheduled because they wouldn’t have either a dentist, or hygienist that day. Okay fine, I’ll deal even though it happening 3 consecutive times is quite annoying. In addition, the receptionists as of the last few years have been subpar. They seem to have attitude when trying to ask for a specific time to schedule, after having my appointment cancelled by the office. They just aren’t as friendly as the ones in the past, and that’s unfortunate. Moving on to my final straw. I chipped a small piece of my back right tooth in the summer, which created a small cavity that was slightly sensitive to hot/cold air. Because it wasn’t that bad, I decided to wait until my cleaning to address it. At my cleaning, I let the hygienist know about the chip and was prepared to schedule a filling. During my cleaning, the hygienist was so rough. She then flossed my teeth and pulled a piece of my filling out on the left side. I literally spit the piece out in my hand. She apologized, but tried to say the filling was “already worn down”. I floss every day and have never disrupted a filling. And I know I do a good job because I’m always complimented on how good my teeth look by the dentist. Fast forward to my appt to now replace TWO fillings instead of just one. I was already a little hesitant because Dr. G wouldn’t be available to do the work, but was assured that the other male Dr. would do great. After numbing my mouth, he took a look at what he would need to do. He then tried to chastise me about my flossing and how I shouldn’t pull the floss if there is resistance. I quickly corrected him and told him that his hygienist is the one that pulled my filling out during my cleaning the week prior. He gasped in surprise and said “OMG really”. Then got quiet. He completed both fillings. The next day I was having problems, not only with temperature sensitivity, but also now with pressure on the right tooth, and now temperature sensitivity on the left side. I can’t chew anything relatively hard on the right side. I called 2 days later to report this and the receptionist insisted that it’s normal and could take up to a week to feel better. I’ve had fillings in the past and NEVER had this issue, but ok. I waited 5 more days and called again schedule an appt to have them fixed. This time Dr. G was available and I was happy that I would have everything done right. So I thought. I explained what happened during my cleaning and the aftermath of the filling. He “fixed” my teeth and I was on my way. Well, wouldn’t you know the issue is STILL NOT FIXED! The sensitivity remains on both sides, and I still cannot chew anything semi-hard on my right side. I could have scheduled a third appt for it to be fixed, but I don’t even trust that they care enough to take care of it. I made an appt with a new dental office to address my issues, which now I am in need of a crown. But of course, my insurance has already been utilized and I’m now having trouble with getting approval. I am very displeased with Crescent Dental, after 15 years of service. They have lost me and my son as a patient. Please do better in the future.
