I’ve been a patient at Vitae Integrative Medical Center for a little over a year and have had the opportunity to be seen by a variety of their staff. I cannot express enough how great and professional everyone here is. From Debbie and Staci, to the medical assistants who help with scheduling, check-ins, and follow-ups, and even their in-house acupuncturist, Brian, the entire team is exceptional. You can truly see the effort this company puts into its patient experience. Appointments and billing are easy to manage, the offices are beautiful, and the overall atmosphere is warm and welcoming every time I’m there. I’ve noticed a few negative reviews directed at staff members, and honestly, I’m surprised by them, especially after a year of consistent, positive interactions with nearly everyone on the team. I have never had a bad experience at Vitae. After years of bouncing between providers and other clinics trying to find the right fit, I’m grateful to have finally found this team.

I had such a great experience here. Everyone was kind and professional. I loved the feeling the moment I walked in. My provider was very attentive and listened to me and asked a lot of questions. I felt like Debby my NP really cared. I’ve never had that from a provider. We even did a follow-up after my labs which no provider has ever done. She went through them all with me and explained all my labs, & ways that I could improve some of them. I’ve never had a provider take the time to do that. Love this place & I finally found a provider that really cares.

I visited Vitae once and unfortunately won’t be returning. The administrative staff were helpful and kind, but the acupuncture session with Brian didn't align with my expectations. During the intake, he asked very few questions about my overall wellbeing — no questions about my emotional health, stress levels, sleep, digestion, or anything else that would help build a full picture.I actually thought the appointment wasn’t an intake at all, which seemed odd, and only realized it was when I saw the bill. He focused almost exclusively on the knee pain I mentioned, and I'm happy that was addressed, but it felt superficial for an acupuncture appointment. One of the reasons I love acupuncture is because it treats the whole person, and this session didn’t feel holistic. During the needling, he was talking about his personal life, which made it hard to relax and connect to the treatment. I was hoping for a more grounded, therapeutic environment. This was a super expensive treatment ($370 after insurance was applied) and it just didn't reflect the quality of care I'd expect for that price. Clearer communication about pricing and a more comprehensive intake would have improved the experience. I don’t doubt that Brian is a great acupuncturist, his style just didn’t align with what I look for in acupuncture. Someone else may love his approach, but this experience just wasn’t a good fit for me.

Every employee I have came across at Vitae is extremely courteous, kind and professional. I was seen by Sierra Brown whom was very professional, knowledgeable and just as important…. easy to talk to! The folks at Vitae will get you on the right track. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I am writing to express my frustration regarding ongoing issues with appointment scheduling at your clinic. This is not my only grievance, but I will focus specifically on front desk booking errors, as this is a basic administrative function and should be handled reliably. I live two hours away, which means I must coordinate trips to Anchorage carefully and schedule appointments on specific dates. On multiple occasions, I have spent significant time on the phone confirming a date and time, only to later receive a confirmation that was incorrect — in one case, off by an entire month. When I call back to correct the error, I am told that the appointments for the date I originally booked are now full. Last month, I was double-booked for two appointments a week apart when I had only requested one. I asked for the extra appointment to be cancelled, but it was not, and I later received a reminder for the appointment that was supposed to have been removed. I had to call again to resolve the issue. I am currently waiting for a return call to reschedule yet again — a process I have gone through before without resolution. Repeated booking errors create unnecessary stress, wasted time, and logistical complications, particularly given the distance I must travel. Accurate scheduling is a fundamental responsibility of front desk staff, and it is concerning that these issues continue to occur. I would appreciate confirmation that processes will be reviewed to prevent this from happening again.
