This was a few years ago in 2023, I just kept forgetting to write a review. The color was lovely, the stylist (Kyra) was friendly, but there’s a couple reasons I rated 3 stars over 5. To be transparent, my initial requested services were a hair cut, bleaching, and color service. We added on a hair repair treatment during my appointment - I think K18. The biggest issue was lack of communication and transparency. If I didn’t directly ask a question, turns out I wasn’t going to be informed. I can take partial blame for that when it came to pricing I suppose, but I there’s things that were changed without communication. So I went in on May 10th 2023. My inspiration photo was for a copper pink color. First photo is what I went in with - most of my hair already bleached but I needed my roots done. I was getting my hair done for my wedding, so I was really excited to get my hair professionally colored for the first time. Second picture is the final result same-day. The color was perfect. The problem is that 1. It was almost twice the price I’d initially been quoted (part of that was because I agreed to the K18 treatment, the rest was not communicated with me) 2. The biggest issue, I was not told until checkout that they didn’t have the color I was asking for in their permanent lines, so she’d used a temporary dye that “should last up to 10 washes”. The third photo is 12 days later (May 24th) after only 1 wash because I was so afraid of it fading before my wedding. The fact that I paid over $200 for temporary hair dye and wasn’t even told in advance or asked if I wanted to change my plan still makes me pretty upset. Final photos are June 24th where you can see the majority of my hair was completely back to blonde and what was left was pastel pink. If you come here, just make sure you have a large beauty budget and ask a LOT of questions so you’re not blindsided by the cost or temporary color. Edit: I found the receipt. My total cost of services was $245. $50 for a haircut, $85 for the temporary hair dye, $45 for the K18 treatment. I got $15 off for getting the cut and color. There’s an $80 “pull thru” service that wasn’t communicated to me on top of the temporary dye issue.

I never wore my hair down for 3 years until Megan Young did my hair. She truly changed my life with the new confidence she gave me. She did my hair last year, completely transforming my bad box dye to a beautiful blonde. Since then, I started wearing my hair down, and my confidence grew so much. Many months later, I went to a different salon for more highlights, and I realized that no one does it better than You Beauty. A year passed, and I got my hair done by Megan Young a second time, and she did amazing yet again, giving me the cutest bob and the most wonderful balayage! You Beauty, regardless of the price, you get what you pay for, especially with how amazing your hair will turn out. I love Megan because she is such a kind stylist and truly cares about her job. You can really tell the passion she has for all the meticulous details she leaves in my hair. I left the salon feeling confident, beautiful, and amazing, all thanks to Megan.

Got a beautiful curly cut from Meagan young ! She gave me an amazing experience felt like I was just chatting with a friend! Made me feel comfortable gave me some advice and I walked out with happy healthy hair ! My curls and myself thank her so much !

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot say enough great things about Megan young! From the moment I sat in her chair, I felt completely comfortable and confident that I was in expert hands. She truly listens, takes the time to understand exactly what you want, and then goes above and beyond to deliver results that exceed expectations. Her attention to detail, skill, and creativity are outstanding, and the end result was absolutely flawless. On top of that, Megan is so friendly, professional, and easy to talk to—it makes the entire experience relaxing and enjoyable. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about their clients and consistently delivers amazing results, Megan is it. I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else and can’t recommend her highly enough!

I went to the salon for both a haircut and highlight/color correction and Phoebe was my stylist for both. She did a phenomenal job! Particularly with the color, which she spent hours getting it to the perfect blonde, while pulling my natural brown in to create a better grow out with less maintenance. All of which she came up with on her own with little guidance required from me (my direction would not be as specific or knowledgeable). Great job and great salon!
