I had such a great experience at Spalding Dentistry in Anchorage! Dr. Spalding was thorough, honest, and made me feel completely safe. I had an extraction and two fillings, and everything was painless. He even called me that evening to check in, which really stood out. The staff was kind and welcoming, and I never once felt pressured into unnecessary procedures like I have at other offices. After trying several dentists in Anchorage, this is by far the best. Highly recommend!

Wholeheartedly recommend this dental practice. They are warm and welcoming and consummately professional in all aspects of their work. From the hygienists to the assessments of any currently necessary or future treatments, my family feel confident in trusting them to take care of our needs.

I was not happy with treatment received from the dental hygienist. Instead of communicating verbally with me, she would touch my lips with the implement she was using as an indication she wanted me to open my mouth. This continued throughout the entire time I was there. I did not appreciate this form of communication as I considered it impolite,.and I requested a different hygienist for my next visit

After a Dental Nightmare, Spalding Dental is a Lifesaver! Finding a trustworthy dentist in Anchorage can feel impossible, and I say that from experience. My journey started at Premier Dental, where I was incorrectly billed and left sitting in the chair while the dentist was clearly overbooked and overwhelmed. Next, I went to Mint Dental, where they immediately tried to convince me to redo my entire mouth, which made no sense and felt like a blatant cash grab. The final straw was at Southside Dental, where they insisted on redoing a crown unnecessarily, which ended up killing the tooth and forcing me to get a root canal. After that whole debacle, I was referred to Spalding Dental. The difference was night and day. I explained my dental nightmare, and for the first time, I felt like a dental team was actually empathetic to my situation. They listened. From the moment you walk in, there's no high-pressure upselling. They focus on what is genuinely necessary for your health. The team's competence is top-notch, and more importantly, their integrity is unshakable. When they say I need something, I know it’s genuine, not just a way to make extra money. I finally feel like I can trust my dental team. I've since referred many people to them, and everyone has been just as happy. If you're tired of being fleeced and just want honest, expert care, this is the place.

The staff at this clinic are all very nice. I had a lot of anxiety when I first went in since it had been a very long time since I had seen a dentist but everyone from the front desk and clinical staff to the dentists have been very kind and reassuring. I had to have my wisdom teeth out and they have been very responsive when I have had questions. I would ( and have) recommend this office to anyone who needs a good dentist office.
