I usually don’t leave reviews, but I felt like I needed to share my recent experience. I had been waiting over two weeks for my dentures, and after a delay, I was finally contacted and told they were ready. I scheduled an appointment to pick them up, but I mistakenly missed it. I completely understand that was my fault, but I figured it wouldn’t be a big issue to stop by and pick them up—especially since it’s something that would’ve taken no more than five minutes. I showed up with over 30 minutes before closing, only to be told I couldn’t be helped and would have to wait until Monday. What really disappointed me wasn’t just being turned away, but the attitude I received when I explained the situation. It felt dismissive and not at all reflective of the “above and beyond” care they advertise on their website. To me, truly going above and beyond means showing a little flexibility and understanding, especially when it’s something so quick and simple. I know everyone has protocols, but a bit of compassion and customer care would’ve gone a long way here. Instead, I left feeling disregarded over something that could have easily been resolved in minutes. I hope Alcan Dental considers how small gestures like this can make a big difference in a patient’s experience. I was excited to finally get my dentures, and now I just feel frustrated and let down.

Crystal from the Front office staff was so helpful and accommodating both on the phone and in person. She literally had my paperwork before I could introduce myself and she was friendly and beaming With positive energy like me so I really appreciated her. And just think earlier in the day on my first call with the dentist I was able to get the same day appointment from a cancellation. Then I met Angelique this awesome dental tech where we shared the same culture and so it was nice to see how bubbly and happy she was and she took care of me with really quick x-rays and just a good sense of humor. And then I met Dr. Lopez who came in brimming with confidence and a friendly face. He and Angelique put me at ease and the whole process was seamless and effortless and Dr Lopez was able to explain to me the different steps and scenarios respecting my teeth and so I'm going back on December 29th To get a possible crown. Fingers crossed :)

I came there after not seeing a dentist for 5 or more years. I knew I would have alot of work needing to be done. They treated me kindly. The dentist was straight forward and treated me like a human being. Everyone I met there was polite. The front desk receptionist was incredible. I had a root canal done and a filling or two. It was not painfull. The day after the root canal I have nearly no discomfort. Overall I dont have anything bad to say and plan of coming back.

Dr Lopez is efficient, professional, and takes the time to be friendly. He focuses on functionality of the patient's mouth over profit and I appreciates thats abouts him. Evelyn at the counter is doing a great job! She worked with my schedule and budget constraints.

Love the customer service thank you for coming through to fix my tooth fillings and cleaning. Keep up the good work and yes I'll be coming back. God Bless!
