Alaska Advanced Dentistry

I had a great experience everyone there was super friendly and attentive. I’ve had some bad experiences in the past when came to dental offices, but I can say that from the moment I walked in to the moment I left I felt comfortable and at ease. I especially loved my dentist assistant dawn she took great care of me.

So pleased with my experience with Alaska Advanced Dentistry and can’t recommend them enough. Due to some not so great previous experiences, my anxiety was pretty terrible in regards to dental work. I had put off going to the dentist for almost 8 years, before I broke a tooth and didn’t really have a choice. Going in, I had some pretty irrational fears, but their staff put me at ease and got me taken care of. Last November was my first visit with them, and as of today I have had all necessary work completed and my confidence has been restored. Can’t thank them enough for their support and never making me feel like crap about delaying coming in for so long.

Every time I walk into the office, I feel comfortable and welcomed. This has been the best dentistry I’ve gone to, after living in multiple states. They thoroughly explain procedures, future recommendations for dental health, and insurance policies/payments. In addition, the conversations (whether they be fun or informative) deepens the patient/doctor relationship. Highly recommend AAD for multiple ages/family friendly. I drive extensively to make my appointments in Anchorage each time because I trust that they can take care of my dental health.

I am probably like most people; a trip to the dentist is not on my fun list. But my recent trip to Alaska Advanced Dentistry was much better than anticipated. The staff was friendly, I actually saw the dentist who set up a plan to deal with my dental needs. And was able to schedule step 1. I was shown the plan and told options based on cost. But with no pressure. I came away with a good mindset of the steps I need to take. Heaven felt like that leaving a dental appointment before.

Hello! I want to share one of my experiences here — and there’s NEVER been a poor experience! I had a problem with lockjaw that had been bothering me for a couple of years, and at times it was so painful I had to be careful about what I ate or chewed. I was told I probably need to have surgery done to fix it. During one of my first visits to Alaska Advanced Dentistry, Dr. Malcolm asked if I had any concerns — a question he never fails to ask at every appointment to ensure complete care and attention — and then performed his usual, thorough check by gently palpating around my cheeks, mouth, and jaw for any pain or tension. It means a lot to have that same level of attentiveness and care at every visit. When I told him about my lockjaw, he clearly explained what might be causing it, took me back for a quick adjustment, and I haven’t had the problem since! Dr. Malcolm and his team have truly been a blessing to me and my family. They’re kind, thorough, and so easy to be around. It’s a dental office that puts you at ease — no stress or anxiety about going to the dentist because they make you feel comfortable and genuinely cared for. I highly recommend Alaska Advanced Dentistry to anyone looking for excellent, compassionate care!
