Lux Nail and Spa

This is the first time I have been to this location. I was in the area and decided to give it a try. Lee Went above and beyond and did not disappoint. I asked for a pink to white ombré. These are probably my favorite set that I have ever gotten. The environment was clean, the staff was friendly and efficient, And I feel back to myself again after treating myself to a spa day!

If I could give zero stars I would. After finishing radiation my nails were destroyed. I waited 3 months and let them grow and get strong. I wanted to treat myself to getting French tips having finished my mastectomies and radiation. I showed the tech a photo of average French tips. She said yes and began. She was yelling and arguing with the other techs the entire time I was there. She began the white tips and I noticed she painted the entire half of my nail…. She then brushed away to make “tips.” Except it was already half of my nail…. She finally acknowledged me and said “okay?” Pointing to the “tips.” I said thinner, please. She nodded and pointed for me out my hard under the light. Confused, I did. She continued and asked again “okay?” I again said they are thick and I wanted thinner like the photo of normal French tips. She said okay and then began filing my nails down to my skin. Filing away to make them “thinner.” My long nails I was proud of growing were gone. She said “better.” She finally looked at me and said “you like?” I said no. They are not like the photo. She just said “yes, go wash.” So I did… at this point I was teary eyed while washing my hands. Grabbed my purse, paid, and left. I know it’s not that big of deal because my nails will grow but not being acknowledged while trying to treat myself. Not being heard. It was an awful experience and now I’m left with terrible nails I can’t wait to cover but they HURT. My cuticles are scabbed from bleeding and my nails are so short they hurt. The fact I said multiple times “no” and was ignored.. I will not be back nor recommend this salon to anyone. In fact, run and go somewhere you feel like a human.

Usually my pedicures here are ok I never have gotten the luxury it was a cute attempt just sucked because a good foot rub with hot water would of been nice or a good straight polish something but don’t think I’ll be coming back after wasting $100

I have always loved this nail salon and been happy with the services provided. Tonight my girls and I went in to get our nails done (long overdue) and I had a simple design I wanted. I was told they couldn't do it because they didn't have the chrome polish so I used a backup design, again a simple one. Everyone is always very friendly, tonight however felt very rushed and the job on my nails reflected that. When I expressed I wasn't happy with the design he had another lady "fix" it. While it looked better it still didn't look good. In addition now the nails were uneven and bumpy with a grey hue around then from using acetone to erase the design. I was so frustrated at that point I said it was fine because there were several people waiting. My daughter who was going to do a design, opted for plain polish after seeing mine. I will say my other daughter had a design that she liked and looked good. I truly feel like crying and soaking these off after spending over $225. It breaks my heart to be writing this review and saddens me that I'm going to be hunting for a new nail place once again.

This place is always so amazing!!! Sweet ladies and excellent service. I love my nails every time I come🤩
