When is it ever a pleasure to go through dental treatment? Well if I could say so; then it would have been my experience today. I felt welcomed by reception as well as the staff. The attending doctor was very communicative and interested in pursuing the best treatment plan for my circumstances and I left feeling optimistic about future interactions. Kyle Tracy gets superlatives across the board. I would rate him higher if possible. This was a walk-in clinic referral to the on call oral surgeon after my regular dentist office closed for the week on Thursday. I'd never heard of him before, but it was my good luck that I drew him. His office called to schedule me shortly after I left the walk in after 5 on Thursday, and got me in at noon Friday. They sat me right down, numbed me up very well, gave it plenty of time to take hold, then put some longer-lasting novocaine over the top of that, looked over the x-rays and CT scan with me, walked me through what he intended to do, then went to work. I didn't even realize the bad tooth was gone until he started working on cleaning out the abscess, which he did with great vigor. He took the time to instruct me of my necessary aftercare, and Monday afternoon he called me to inquire about my progress/recovery. This guy was really good! My previous experience with extractions was probably 50 years ago with the original Dick Prill shooting me up and then with no delay pulling all 4 wisdom teeth in one sitting, occasionally putting his knee on my chest for purchase. This experience was much better.
