Turley Dental Care

One filling I had done they numbed me and a Dr wasn't available for over an hour and I had my teeth worked on partially not numb, they did offer to numb me again but I didn't want to be double numbed. they made it up to me with 5$ at Starbucks… Made me wait in the waiting room for 45mins past my scheduled teeth cleaning then rushed my cleaning and gave me an exam when I wasn't supposed to and got a bill not covered by insurance. I have missed one appointment in the last 4 years and they sent me a letter saying I can no longer schedule appointments. Safe to say I will be finding a new dental office.

The work they did on my teeth was done well. My complaint is with what I feel as deceptive practices in regards to insurance. I requested assurance that Turley was ‘in network’ 3 times prior to my appointment. All three times they affirmed that they were in network, even on the day of my appointment. They gave me an estimate of the work that needed done which included $1400 out of pocket, the rest being paid by insurance. Being told that I was ‘in network’ 3 times I assumed insurance would cover the rest. It turns out that I was actually out of network, and the 3 times that they affirmed I was in network were false. I called about this discrepancy and was told that the estimate stated somewhere on the paper that I was out of network. I was more concerned with the price out of pocket that I didn’t even notice anywhere that it said I was out of network, especially with the fact that I was told 3 times I was in network. I believe this was done intentionally, get me in the door telling me I was in network and then give me an estimate with fine print stating I’m out of network knowing I’m likely not to notice. I now will have to pay 3/4 of the total bill. Both the dentist and hygienist were very pleasant and knowledgeable, the deceptive practices are what I have an issue with. I would not recommend Turley Dental unless you’ve 100% confirmed with your insurance that you’re in network, don’t trust what Turley has to say.

I have a couple bad cavities that need root canals. I have MT Medicaid, which they accept. They got me in within the week, and they got the process started yesterday. I have dental anxiety from a horrible experience at a previous dentist less than two years ago, I have required Valium to get through previous dental appointments since that. I did not have valium at this appointment. I FELL ASLEEP while they were working on my teeth. No nitrous, nothing. I literally cannot give any higher praise.

Dr. H did an extraction today. Obviously not a fun thing to have done but he was so good. Very calm and explained everything as he was going. Probably one of the most positive experiences at a dental office I’ve ever had.

Turley dental did a really good job of pulling my tooth out, it was fast & painless! The staff was super friendly! I'm not much of a going to the dentist kind of person, but with Truly dental Care, This is going to be my new dental place to go to. Plus I like how they're open on Saturdays!! You guys did a good job. Thank you all!!
