Drew's Barbershop on Pershing Walk in’s Only

Very impressed with the meticulous work done by everyone here. We went in on a busy Saturday and everyone was in good spirits well past closing time. My son moved while getting a design done and the stylist managed to modify and still make it turn out great!

In a world where it’s pretty much impossible to get a haircut because everybody’s booked out the wazooo it was really nice but to walk in somewhere with your turn and get a really wonderful haircut I will make sure that every time I’m in town I get my haircut here as they went above and beyond not just give me a haircut, but to also trim up my eyebrows and such.

I recently booked a haircut appointment online with Carlos Montes. To my disappointment, upon arrival, I discovered Carlos wasn't even present at the location, despite having confirmed my appointment via email beforehand. I cannot recommend this place due to their poor organization and lack of communication. What's more, when I explained the situation to the owner, who was on their way out, they showed no concern or interest in resolving the issue or assisting me in finding an alternative stylist. This experience was entirely unacceptable and unprofessional. I strongly advise potential customers to seek a more reliable establishment for their hair care needs. Response you the owners reply- While I appreciate your response to my review, I must clarify a few points. As a customer, I booked an appointment through a platform that your business has enabled. Therefore, it's only natural for me to hold your establishment accountable for the lack of professionalism demonstrated by one of your barbers. You mentioned that Carlos left due to a sore throat, but during our conversation, you stated that he often "comes and goes as he pleases." This inconsistency is concerning and reflects poorly on your business. Additionally, your dismissive attitude when I attempted to address the issue in person was equally unprofessional. As a business owner, I would expect you to take responsibility for the actions of your staff and to make a genuine effort to rectify any unsatisfactory experiences your customers face. I'm disappointed that neither you nor Carlos made any attempts to resolve the issue or offer an alternative solution. I'd like to address your statement about your barbershop being walk-in only. While you claim this to be the case, it's essential to acknowledge that the very platform on which you replied to my review, Google, also enables your barber to accept bookings. If you genuinely wanted to operate as a walk-in only establishment, you could easily disable this booking feature. By allowing your barber to continue accepting appointments through this platform, you are sending mixed messages to potential customers. It's crucial to maintain consistency in your business practices to avoid further confusion and disappointment. I suggest that you either disable the booking function on Google to ensure your walk-in only policy is upheld or implement better management practices to ensure that barbers who accept appointments through this platform are held accountable for fulfilling them. Tell me you’re scared of your barber without telling me you’re scared of your barber.

If you prefer attention to detail, its worth the wait because they are usually busy. They are genuine Barbers.

I’m digging this barbershop. Old school vibe! I’m happy with my cut, Michael did a great job! I’ll definitely be back!
