10th Street Dental

I’m grateful that 10th Street Dental was able to get me in so quickly during the holiday, especially on short notice. I came in because my permanent retainer had fallen off and leftover glue was scratching my tongue and cheeks to the point where it was painful. I could’ve waited until Monday to see my orthodontist, but I was genuinely uncomfortable and just needed relief. Unfortunately, the experience itself was not great. The receptionist I spoke with was extremely rude. I explained that I would bring my insurance card with me, but was told they needed it immediately over the phone. I eventually said to just run me as self-pay to move things along, but the tone and attitude were unnecessary. I was told to arrive 10–15 minutes early for new patient paperwork, which I did. Parking was very difficult, but I found street parking and went in on time. When I was brought back to the room, I was honestly uncomfortable with how it looked — tools and drawers were wide open, and the room did not appear clean or organized, which is concerning in a dental setting. The assistant who took pictures was also rude and unfriendly. I was kind of in disbelief honestly. I waited about 30 minutes before the dentist came in. The actual procedure was quick — just shaving down the glue — which was fine. However, the dentist did not introduce herself and was very dismissive. I was told, somewhat sharply, that she “wasn’t touching my teeth, just the glue,” which felt condescending, especially since having anything shaved in your mouth is uncomfortable if you’re not expecting it. I was also told I could have just waited to see my orthodontist, which felt unnecessary given that I was there because I was in pain. I appreciate being fit in quickly and getting relief, but between the rudeness, lack of bedside manner, and the cleanliness concerns, this was a disappointing experience. I don’t expect special treatment — just basic professionalism, courtesy, and a clean environment.

I have been going to this dentist for years, even back when Dr Montoya had it. Stayed when new Dentist took over several years ago. I have gone to my niece who is in dental hygienist school for last few cleanings to help her. I also am bringing my kids to her as she needs patients for school. Out of the blue I get this letter in the mail! All because I’m helping out a student to become a dental hygienist. I have also asked more than once to have my kids records sent and they have not done so. I emailed a release form as well. This is bad business. Apparently they don’t need anymore patients. Please think twice before going to this Dentist.

I recently started seeing 10th St Dental after having a poor experience at a larger dental office. I can't overstate how accommodating, gentle, and communicative their staff is. I often see this office recommended due to their fair pricing, and that's certainly a plus... But take it from someone that has been to many dentists in many different cities - someone with major dental phobias - THIS is where you want to go. They're easily the best I've found. From front desk to the entire dental team, everyone was great at their job. No complaints/notes.

Came in for a chipped tooth to see what my options were as a walk in. Welcomed in politely, paperwork was easy. Longest part was contacting my insurance, during which they still did what they could and the staff was extremely friendly, I will 100% use them again for a dental emergency and recommend them for anyone in an urgent need. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

I had a dental emergency and they were able to get me in same day and help me out. The ladies were wonderful and helped the experience feel more comfortable. All the staff were very sweet. I look forward to getting my wisdom teeth out by them
