Sensational Smiles

Everyone at Sensational Smiles make going to the dentist a pleasant experience. Katie, my dental hygienist, is awesome at her job and a joy to talk with while she is working. Dr. Anderson is very personable. He makes me feel at ease and always takes time to explain things thoroughly. On my recent visit I needed a cavity filled. Dr. Anderson had such a gentle approach and his technician, Sarah, was friendly, caring, and competent. All the other staff that I have been in contact with there have always been kind, professional, and efficient.

I came to Sensational Smiles in need of a lot of dental work including but not limited to, bridge, multiple cavities, bone graft, and implant.. at first it started out great! I thought they really cared, even tho I had no insurance I still proceeded with them. I paid as I went ending up spending over $10,000 give or take, as we progressed through the work they went from being willing to work with me financially to demanding full payment up front before they would even touch me. Well I continued I got my front tooth pulled and did a bone graft in preparation of the implant, well that bone graft didn’t take ( I feel because only a few weeks after I got it) I went in for follow up appointment to which Dr.Swingdorf ripped the graft out. Then months later I cam in for the implant only for him to tell me it didn’t take and I needed another one and charged me full price again i didn’t think that was right and I brought it up to them to which they cut the bill in half which was nice so I got the second one done. Now fast forward a few months one of the teeth I got fixed got chipped in my sleep cause there was not tooth beside, well they charged me full price demanding it up front before they touched me. (Even tho I have paid them every time, they would not even let me pay them later that week.) well during my appointment Dr. Anderson my dentist told me my bone graft was expelling stuff and not healing right and that he would make sure Dr. Swingdorf would promptly contact me to see if it was infected or something that could ruin the graft, so I went home and waited, two weeks went by with no contact as I noticed the area starting to get worse and taste funny, so I finally had enough waiting and reached out to see why they where not on top of it. Well I had to leave a message and then wait. After two more days no contact, I contacted them yet again and informed them this is a possible infection stated by Dr. Anderson and still no one has contacted me, they stated they where very sorry and that they would get to the bottom of it asap and help me get it figured out, well here I am almost two weeks later and still no word. This is so disrespectfully negligent, especially since there is a infection ruining my thousands of dollars of work not getting me anywhere closer to my $8000 dollar implant or fixing the infection that was noticed WEEKS AGO! No care in the world for my health, my business or the fact that I have put over $10,000 in my mouth with them and another $8000 still left to get my implant. It seems They only care about money, not a patients health. So now I have to book a Dr. appointment or find another dentist to stop this infection so it does not cause me lasting damage, or prohibits my ability to get my implant due to deterioration. I am so disappointed with this company. Like I said I actually thought they cared. I would highly recommend against going to this place if you care about your health.

Audrey is an excellent hygienist—personable, attentive, and consistently positive. Her professionalism and upbeat attitude make every visit a pleasant experience. I genuinely look forward to my appointments because of the outstanding care she provides.

Ashley my hygienist was great! She is so thorough and listened to all my concerns. Megan on the business team was efficient and prompt when scheduling my treatment. Really great experience!

I'm back here again, and happy ! Brenda did my xrays today, and was so friendly and helpful ! I previously had a crown done at another dental office. They had to do a temp. one, wait over 2 weeks for the permanent one. My partner had a crown done here and they had it all done in one day, and no problems!!! 😊
