Valley Dental

I’ve had a long history of dental problems throughout my life and, because of various moves, have found myself in different dental offices over the years. Valley Dental is the first dental office I’ve gone to where I feel truly comfortable. Every person I’ve interacted with is super friendly and never judgmental. I no longer dread my appointments thanks to this office and their incredibly caring service! Highly recommend.

New to the area and my first appointment at Valley Dental. Reception team was very friendly and helpful. Had Amber as my hygienist and she was very nice. Explained every step she made.

Valley dental did a wonderful job in cleaning my teeth. They kept me very comfortable and did not injure me at all. The previous dentist I had worked harder and caused bleeding, but Valley dental does not do that. Highly recommend this company.

Valley Dental has the potential to be an incredible asset to the FM community. However, this will happen once they improve their communication between the office and patients. They performed a root canal on me in August of 2022. I am very appreciative that they performed this procedure, because at the time, I did not have a lot of money, and I was in quite a bit of pain. I am grateful for what they did, and how they helped me out. The downside to this procedure was that they snapped the instrument off, and ended up having to leave it in my root canal because they could not get it out. Even though I had signed a risk acknowledgement form, they told me I would be fine and I had nothing to worry about. Fast forward to 2024, I began having quite a bit of pressure in my head, and by the beginning of 2025, there was pain at the site of the root canal. At that point, I had moved back to Colorado, and after seeing two different dentists and two specialists, I was told that I had a major infection in this root canal and would have to have it removed. Not only that, the infection had spread into my sinuses. I have a feeling the outcome would not have been good for me if this would've continued on. I had the tooth pulled on April 25th 2025 at Colorado Surgical Arts. While I am appreciative of what Valley Dental did for me in 2022, I do feel that they did not provide me with the best options following my root canal. Most notably, I was not given the choice to see a specialist at Sanford to have the instrument removed. While I signed a risk acknowledgement form, as I have said to their office, individuals who did not go to school to become a dental hygienist or dentists themselves need more reminders than just a piece of paper. There was no follow up in the three times I visited their dentist post root canal, and no questions asked about how my root canal was doing. Valley Dental, I am super appreciative of what you did for me, but knowing the outcome, I wish things would've been done differently.

Valley Dental staff and Dr. Smith are Awesome! Words to describe them they are patient, kind and caring! Jonathan does well because of them!
