Optima Dermatology

I have had a great experience with Optima Dermatology in Scarborough! They were able to get me in for my initial consult several months before other providers in the area, and scheduling recheck visits has been easy the whole time I have been coming here (9 months, and I have come once a month for that time). All the reception and clinical staff I have met have been friendly and accommodating, and Dr. Barton has been down to earth, validating, and encouraging at each of our appointments. The office is clean and inviting, and I rarely have to wait a long time to be seen. I was so glad when I switched insurance this year that Optima is still in network with my new provider, as I will definitely keep coming back!

I experienced a very thorough exam done by Rebecca. She gave me solutions for all my concerns, was very thoughtful and specific with her advice. Her assistant was excellent as well. Could not have been better.

Had my first appointment here, and what a wonderful experience. The front desk associate was so kind and is a wonderful first person to meet when you walk in. I was able to see Jamie for my annual skin check, with her assistant being Rita. Both were extremely nice and made this appointment easy and seamless. Jamie made me feel extremely comfortable and asked if I had any questions/ concerns, and didn't feel annoyed when I did. Very happy this is my new dermatologist!

When I arrived for my appointment,it was mentioned with great concern we change my operation plans. We discussed one surgery was much more important than the one I was there for!! After a brief conversation we made the decision to go with her advice. They were great made me feel very comfortable and surgery went fantastic 😍 They're are very professional and relaxing to be with 😊 I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family. I had a wonderful experience at Optima Dermatology. Dr Houlihan was very thorough and explained everything and gave me options. She listens and is very patient! Her nurse/assistant, sorry I forgot her name, was very nice and helpful also! I didn't have to wait, appointment was right on schedule, highly recommend! Thank you!
