Off Hand Tattoo

My husband and I decided to take a trip to Portland for our 4 year anniversary. We stopped at a few places well we walked the streets then decided to get a tattoo to always remember our great day! We walked by off hand tattoo, walked in asked if they had time for a walk in. We didn’t want anything too big or intricate. We looked on the walls and in some of their books, found what we wanted. They were amazing!!! Made us feel so very welcomed, comfortable environment, lots of interesting conversations. By far some of the best art work we have on us. We will be going back to them! Along with telling all our friends about them. We already have ideas in mind for the next visit. Thank you again Tyler for adding to my “personal” half sleeve in progress and thank you Doug for the amazing piece on my husband’s neck/ behind the ear. See you soon!

Doug was more than wonderful. He was patient and understanding with my vision. Fun and enjoyable during the tattoo, and gave me exactly what I envisioned. I’m visiting from out of town, but I will definitely be back. The pricing was reasonable and I felt like he was very eager to create.

My wife and I were spending the day in Portland and happened to pass Off Hand Tattoo. I didn’t have an appointment, but Doug told me he could take me a couple of hours later. He was true to his word and did an awesome job bringing my idea to life. He made us feel comfortable and was an excellent collaborator throughout the process. Great shop. Great staff. Check them out if you’re in the area.

Staying in Portland for an evening while going up the coast on our honeymoon and popped into Off Hand to see if they took walk-ins. We left with Maine inspired tattoos to cherish forever. Doug was amazing and knocked it out of the park! Super talented, and super friendly. Will consider making the 3 hour drive back up for more work in the future after the incredible experience we had.

Cool shop, great tattoo artists, walk in and enjoy the experience, You’re in good “Hand”. When you are done, great local ice cream across from the shop.
