1330 Dental Associates

I have been coming to 1330 Dental my entire life. I no longer live in Portland but very willingly drive 1.5 hours round trip to receive my dental care here. My entire family comes here now as well. I have quite a bit of dental anxiety but they are the best at helping me through this. Chelsea is an amazing hygienist and all of the dentists are fantastic! Highly recommend!

I was recommended 1330 from a friend of mine. He gave me good advice. Along with a cleaning, 1330 gave me a gold crown in one of my molars. Terry took her time to help get the fit of the crown just right. She and Dr. Sherwood worked well together to ensure my comfort. Great work overall. Thank you 1330 Dental Associates. 😁🦷🪥

A very sad and disappointing experience. I have been going to 1330 Dental Associates for over 40 years. I have annual bitewing X-rays and routine cleanings every 6 months, sometimes paying for more than the standard two/year that insurance covers. Today, when I went for an extra cleaning, I was told they needed to do a full set of X-rays. I refused, stating I already had x-rays on my last two visits. The hygienists told me the "Standard of Care" required it!!! I corrected her: "Recommends" it. Next, I was told that I wouldn't be able to schedule another cleaning unless and until I got the full X-rays. New policy, new owner of the practice, Dr. Mark Label, couldn't care less about patient loyalty 40+ years (along with my family). This dentist acts like full x-rays every 5 years is the law. It isn't. rather, rules the ADA made up to keep the revenue stream and somehow we all have to do what they say or they’ll deny service. I have referred several new patients to 1330 over the years. I will no longer refer, and will be considering other dentist practices for myself.

I’m a new customer (2 cleanings in) and love it here — specifically, the staff! The doctor is friendly and knowledgeable, but everyone else you interact with is super friendly too! My hygienist, Kristy, is AMAZING. Embarrassingly enough, I hadn’t been to the dentist since before the pandemic, and I was terrified because I knew I had a ton of plaque built up etc. I just knew it would be super painful and I thought they’d judge me for how long it’s been — but no one did! And it wasn’t painful at ALL! I’ve been in for 2 cleanings since and we’re back to normal — all because Kristy gave a great cleaning and is just the nicest person you could work with. I actually LIKE coming to the dentist now. Pro tip: wear headphones and listen to your fav music during the cleaning to not hear a thing! 10/10.
