Revive Skin Spa

My appointment was cancelled just 20 minutes before I was supposed to arrive. Given how last-minute it was, initially assumed something serious must have happened, especially since there was no phone call or follow-up email acknowledging the cancellation. I later noticed once I arrived at the facility and could check my messages thoroughly that the reason listed was weather-related, which was confusing as the skies were clear and the roads were completely fine. If weather was truly a concern, cancelling earlier in the afternoon would have given me adequate time to adjust my schedule. After seeing the cancellation, I attempted to call the spa twice and also sent a message through their online portal, but did not receive a response. Instead, my appointment was rescheduled without my consent or any discussion about what would work for my schedule. As a new client, this was especially frustrating. I had taken time off work and was genuinely looking forward to some self-care. Not receiving a courtesy call, acknowledgment of the inconvenience, or communication about rescheduling left me feeling unheard and as though my time didn’t matter. I hope they can improve communication and consideration for clients’ time in the future.

Writing this as a niece who’s honestly really disappointed. My aunt took time off work and rearranged her schedule for an appointment that was cancelled just 20 minutes before she was supposed to arrive. No phone call, no follow-up, nothing. Because of this, she now has to work Friday night and we can’t spend time together like we planned. She shifted her schedule for no reason and came home genuinely sad. Seeing someone you care about look forward to self-care and then feel like they didn’t matter is really upsetting. I just wish this business had shown basic courtesy and better communication.

As someone who sees clients it’s disheartening when a place doesn’t respect there’s. I showed up for an appointment only to see that while I was driving to the appointment they cancelled last minute. They did not reach out and apologize for the late cancel or explain why. They also rebooked me for a time without asking if that worked for me. Between the texting last minute and rebooking as a new client I was not impressed.

I had a lovely experience here! She listened to what I wanted and didn't want, took the time to make sure everything was how I wanted, very calm and peaceful environment, and great conversation! I would recommend this place without a doubt!
