I went to Ulta last night to try tinsel in my hair. I absolutely love it! I had Lillian as my stylist. She did a great job, and she also did a phenomenal job blending it in so it’s very subtle, which is what I asked for. She also took time to explain everything to me on how to maintain it. I will definitely be back for more in the future, and will definitely use Lillian again!

DO NOT PLACE MOBILE ORDER I spoke with Sara on the 24th and felt like I was treated as a bother. I understand it’s a busy time, but they had no proper response on when my order would be ready, and or if they have even received it. I wasn’t told I could cancel within an hour of ordering which I would have if I knew because these items were for a X-MAS gift. I was left in the dark about whether the issue could be resolved before closing. Now, I have an $88 hold on my account since the 24th and have to wait 5 more days for a refund. The whole process has been frustrating, and it’s made me think twice about shopping at Ulta during the holidays & to make matter worse when I was in the store trying to find last minute gifts I overheard " Sara" speaking about the issue with co-workers and how it was apparently humorous

Had my hair colored by Lillian today and she did such a great job. I'm super happy with it and my hair looks great. I normally go to a curly hair specialty place for my cuts, but I think I'll just keep going to Lillian for my color. She's about half the price of the other place I go - and she did a great job!

I placed and picked up an online order. One piece was a gift set missing two of the 4 items. I called the store and an associate went in to the store to be sure that a replacement was available, then set it aside for me. She told me to just come in and the item would be waiting for the swap. When I got to the store I approached the pickup counter and told the rep that approached what I was there for. Instead of turning around and handing me the replacement that was sitting right there on the counter, she said you'll have to go stand in line. I did not get her when my time came to be helped and luckily a mgr approached as I was being helped and quickly traded the set, apologized for the inconvenience and sent me on my way.

SHOPPERS LOOKING AT THEIR STOCK ONLINE- Please be aware that they do not have an accurate inventory and they are not very polite about this! I was told today that I would need to call ahead of time if I wanted to make sure a product was in stock. As someone with a retail background AND a longtime ulta shopper, this is not the standard and I have NEVER been told this before. I understand issues where inventories themselves are off by a few units due to issues with received shipments or theft, however, listing that you sell a product online that isn’t even shown as an option on the self is not the norm. Not only that, but dismissing a customer and being snarky about it is just bad customer service. Maybe next time, try to help find the customer find an alternative to what they are looking for OR at least be understanding about your store’s issue. Blaming inaccurate inventory on theft, especially if your store doesn’t even sell the version of what I am looking for, is just unprofessional. I am sure there was judgement as I was not dressed in the most formal clothing (I had just gone to a fitness class) nor was I grabbing a bunch of luxury product. There were other items I was looking to pickup as well, but I chose to leave the store instead. I am not about to drop $100+ on products when I am not being treated with the minimum respect and courtesy. I understand that the employee may have been having a difficult morning, or this is an issue that they have no control over, but they handled the situation quite poorly. I hope they are able to address their inventory management situation, as well as improve their training for customer service overall. It’s a shame as this location used to be amazing with customer care! On a side note, it is IMPOSSIBLE to avoid the strong smells of the store even when you are just passing by the entrance to the mall.
