Optima Dermatology & Medical Aesthetics

Today I saw Dr. Stead. She’s so good. She comes in and you never feel rushed, she talks to you about what’s going on and it’s a nice way to build a rapport with her. Her staff is excellent as well. I would highly recommend!

All my questions are always answered. I don’t feel rushed even how busy it is. Everyone is knowledgeable and very patient! Couldn’t ask for a better place to be. Especially Dr. Stead! She is amazing, caring and very thorough!

I'm not overly impressed with the Dr I had here. For one, out of the number of times here, I've never seen my Dr's face. She always wears a mask. Secondly, there's no skin cancer screening if you are not there for that. That seems like it should be a very quick scan just like at a dentist office. Lastly, Dr Cowdrey is probably great if you fit into her check mark box and all works out as a product states it should. I find that she doesn't listen to what you are saying, she talks at you, and when you don't fit into the "classic" outcomes of what she recommends, she is dismissive. I gave her two stars because a single recommendation did help some, but my issue is definitely not resolved, and she has no further recommendations since she isn't hearing what I am saying. Long story short, don't recommend.

This was my first appointment at Optima and with Dr. Snead. I had to wait 4+ months for this appointment and it was definitely worth the wait! After initially meeting Dr. Snead, she immediately put me at ease with her calming demeanor and quick diagnosis of my skin concerns which brought me to Optima in the first place. Olivia Stowell, medical assistant during my visit was very professional and helpful answering any questions or concerns I had. Thank you very much to both of you for making my visit a pleasant experience!

The staff at the Bedford office is fantastic. They are professional and very thorough. Explained everything with detail making my procedure quick and putting me at ease.
