Gentle Dental Derry

Gentle Dental was able to see me right away after I was experiencing pain from one of my teeth. The receptionist, dentist and assistants were all friendly & welcoming. I especially love how transparent the staff were regarding the costs of the procedure. They also clearly communicated a treatment plan and prices. I highly recommended this dentist and their essential plan offered to members!

5/5 Stars – Absolutely the best dental hygienist experience! I recently had my cleaning with Hannah McDonald, and wow—what a difference a truly exceptional hygienist makes! From the moment she greeted me with her warm, friendly smile, I felt completely at ease. Hannah is incredibly gentle yet thorough; she explained every step of the process without rushing, making sure I was comfortable the entire time. Her technique is top-notch—she removed all the buildup without any discomfort, and my teeth felt incredibly clean and smooth afterward (seriously, they’ve never looked or felt better!). She took the time to answer all my questions about oral care, shared helpful tips tailored to my routine, and genuinely seemed to care about my long-term dental health. Hannah’s positive energy, professionalism, and genuine kindness made what could have been a routine appointment into a really pleasant experience. If you’re looking for someone who combines skill, patience, and a great bedside manner, Hannah is outstanding—I’ll definitely be requesting her for all my future visits! AMAZING the staff there was very welcoming I was greeted warmly by Arijeta, when I was taken to the back by Harneet, she was very professional and explained everything step by step and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I told her I was nervous and hadn't been to the dentist for a while she made sure I understand everything that was happening and asked me how I felt throughout my cleaning. When the appointment was over she talked over everything and made sure I had all the tools I needed to ensure good oral health for the future. I feel amazing and can't wait to go back

I have a lot of social anxiety around going to the dentist, but the team at Gentle Dental put me at ease almost immediately. Every staff member I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely kind – I never once felt rushed or talked down to. They made me feel comfortable and respected the whole time. The hygienist and office manager even worked together with the imaging equipment to make sure they got all the pictures they needed without making it stressful for me. The dentist himself was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to clearly explain what he was seeing, what my treatment options were, and why certain steps were recommended. He had a calm, easy-to-talk-to manner and was very open to questions, which I really appreciate as someone who likes to understand the “why,” not just “because we have to.” Overall, this was probably the best dental experience I’ve ever had, and I’m actually looking forward to coming back for the rest of my dental work. I highly recommend Gentle Dental to anyone who feels anxious about dental visits or just wants a thoughtful, informative, and respectful experience.

Dr A was great! I was terrified and she put me at ease. She was very compassionate. The front desk staff were very personable and professional. They moved with the team as they worked on a plan making sure I understood each step financially. I was so impressed by this office. Great job to all.
