Mountain State Oral and Facial Surgery - Charleston

I had my wisdom teeth removed at Mountain Stare Oral and Facial Surgery earlier this month. The staff, including the assistants, nurses, and Dr. Ravelo, were incredibly attentive and friendly and made me feel very comfortable every step of the way. I had a minor complication due to an issue during my healing process. The team was able to fit me in quickly to correct the issue, reduce my pain, and expedite my healing process. Oftentimes, medical offices can be intimidating and uncomfortable environments, but the MSOFS staff was so incredibly personable and attentive. I felt truly cared for in their Oakwood Office.

Five stars for Dr. Ravelo and his assistant, Hannah. They made the extraction painless and uncomplicated. They explained each step of the procedure and followup care needed. Will definitely go back to them should the need arise.

I went yesterday (12-03-25) and got 5 teeth pulled. 4 wisdom and another side tooth. And boy was I scared. I wanna give a biggggg thank you to my nurse Tiffany and the assistant Trina. I honestly don’t think I could have done it if I didn’t have you guys by my side. Talked me through it. Held my hand. And we laughed. I love it and thank you so much! Seriously the best nurses. The Dentist himself I didn’t get to talk to him to much. He seemed nice. But he was getting it done and was getting out of there. But overall it went good. Great place!!!! Especially if you have really bad anxiety like me!

I chose Mountain State Oral and Facial to extract my 4 wisdom teeth and I am so grateful that I did. From the time I walked in to leaving I felt safe, cared for, and respected. A special shout out goes to TJ and Tiffany, they handled my fear so professionally and warmly. If you choose to go here for any reason you’re in fantastic and capable hands ♥️

I’m a pharmacist so I will tell the truth as I always do. Fabulous treatment from setting up the appointment to the moment I was finished with the extractions. Followed by numerous calls to make sure I didn’t need anything. Top notch facility, staff, and Dr. Ravelo is the man! If you are having any problems, I would definitely contact this office and they will exceed your expectations.
