Vicki was so friendly and kind during my cleaning. She had great attention to detail and was gentle on my teeth. Dr Andrew Whitaker gave me options for an issue with my retainer, and was easy to talk to. I felt they were both very honest and not looking to profit off of me. So happy I found this dentist. Would highly recommend and actually look forward to my next visit!

Overall my personal experience has been great, but someone who I care about deeply recently had a poor and embarrassing experience, and I feel the need to speak up on behalf of them. It is, under no circumstances, appropriate for a health care provider to be rude to a patient over the condition of their teeth. Why do you think they're coming to the dentist? For fun? Sassy and uncalled for comments, as well as condescending and pointed questions, actively deter patients from wanting to use this service. It took a lot of courage for them to come in, and the visit resulted in embarrassment and shame. While nobody has made comments about me personally, I can no longer in good faith recommend Lexington Family Dentistry to anyone who is actively doing everything they can to make necessary and healthy changes in their life. Changes in which they did not have access to in years. If you aren't willing to help people, and prefer to judge instead, consider changing careers.

After loosing my dentist of over 35 years I needed a new one. I have gone to a corporate dentist because I needed a fast appointment. They tried to saddle me with thousands of dollars in costs for what sounded like they were going to butcher my mouth. Upon thought, research for reviews I decided to seek a second option. Being of poor health for my age I have had a good number of bad experiences in the medical sense.After having the recommendation for this office by my insurance people for the people he sees I made an appointment. I was very nervous, I have always hated the dentist but at least I had someone I could trust and that being gone was very unsettling . I was able to get an appointment within a few weeks. After my last experience I didn’t really know what to expect. The people were very nice. Appointment was quick with no wait. The hygienist Vicki , was very nice and did what she could to put me at ease talking like she had known me all my life. That was a comfort. They were very thorough, taking basic X-rays as well as a few more to aid the Dentist. The cleaning went well. It was recommended for a couple things but it was no where near as bad as the last cooperate dentist. The dental hygienist made a couple recommendations and explained what we would be doing to come . Then at check out the lady at the front explained how the process worked and let me know they would get pre authorization from insurance and would give me a call to schedule. What was said to cost over 10K in recommendations at this dentist looks to be a huge reduction , smaller portion in cost and several of the recommendations that was made by the last place was so untrue and not needed. I have waited to do thier review until I could get a second opinion they had tried to get me to finance the work they said was needed and ended up taking $500 that day , that I still have not had refunded. I can not explain how grateful I am. I was very upset at the last recommendation I just didn’t know what to do or how to handle what they were saying. This office was not only good at what they do .. But a blessing in how they treated me . They have been very thorough, kind and helpful. I was in need of a permanent dentist after my childhood one was gone and I believe I found one. I can not explain the load that was taken off my shoulders. I never thought the recommendation for more dental work would put me at ease but knowing it was a small thing in comparison and that they weee going to work through the insurance process and be there every step of the way is a blessing. I don’t just feel like they are very good at thier jobs , but also very good kind people. I can not thank them enough or say enough to express my gratitude.

Everyone at Lexington Family Dentistry are extremely nice. I have never waited more than a few minutes before being called back for my cleaning. The hygienist is wonderful and also the dentist. Very pleased to have a dentist and hygienist that my whole family is pleased with. Thanks, LFD.

I started there years ago with Dr Hall and then. Stayed with Dr Whitaker when Dr Hall retired. He is so patient with me ! Sherry has taken care of me for years and always settle my concerns down. Thank you!
