The sound bath at the end was grounding and soothing and left me feeling wonderfully calm. Okay, let me start off by saying, I wasn’t a massage guy generally. Sure, I make my partner rub my shoulders occasionally, but nothing too intense. But after years of lifting and a job that can be tough on my shoulders and back, I figured it was time to do something about it. Malia is that something. She is professional, knowledgeable, fun, and most of all patient. I’ve learned so much about my stress and body in just two sessions with her. Everything she offers from facial massage, to cbd therapy is something to try and look forward to. The space is so cozy, and if you’re really nice you get fresh tea and I just cannot express how really welcoming it is. I highly recommend Malia and her services. Whether you’re a regular at a massage therapist, or a newbie, Malia with talk with, educate, and send you to the wild world of relaxation and healing.

I have mixed feelings about posting this review. On one hand, Malia absolutely deserves all the praise because this was hands down the BEST MASSAGE I’ve ever had! On the other hand, I’m a bit selfish and still want to be able to book an appointment with her! Let me share all the little things that made this an exceptional experience. First, Malia has a very detailed intake form that covers everything from your preferred music, level of conversation, massage technique, and pressure. She tailors the massage exactly to your preferences. For instance, I usually don’t like to talk during a massage, but she’s so engaging. I found myself chatting away, and she would politely respond and then guide me back to focusing on my breathing and relaxation, just as I requested on the intake form. Secondly, I’m not sure why all massage therapists haven’t invested in padding for their tables, but Malia has, and it feels like lying on a cloud. The room is dark and quiet, except for the background sound of your choice. Since she has her own space, you don’t hear conversations from other therapists and clients, which can be distracting when you’re trying to relax. Finally, Malia has great energy. She is passionate about her work, and it shows from the moment you meet her! I hope you enjoyed this review, but please, I beg you, leave me some appointments with her! She’s a rare find, and I don’t want to share her too much! Just kidding. Kinda.
