I have been going to Dr. McNurlen for years. He is the nicest person and always makes me feel at ease in the dental chair. My boys have always had no problems going to him either because of the same reason. He also is so informative in what he's doing to my teeth or what needs to be done to help keep my teeth healthy. I would send all my friends and family members there. He's really great! PS-The dental hygenists working there are fabulous too and so kind.

I was seen by Dr McNurlen after a long absence from the dental office. It was probably the concern of the co payments that was the greatest deterrent for me. Dental insurance that provides good coverage, is reasonably priced, & will go into effect within a reasonable amount of time. Of course one has to tailor their coverage with the state of their immediate needs. The work I had to have done was a tooth extraction of a molar in the back part of my mouth. I had previously had a wisdom tooth extracted by a different dentist in a different place. I was not given ANY after care instructions from the dentist who pulled my wisdom tooth. Subsequently I suffered from an excruciating dry socket condition. Remember, no warning or after care instructions were given to me. This occurred before the internet... When I told the dentist about my pain & suffering he acted like this may or may not have occurred. He gave no indication that he or his staff could or should have prevented the dry socket condition. I have suffered through a long history of "bad dentists" so, Dr McNurlen is just the right dentist for me. I knew he was an excellent dentist, very knowledgeable, thorough, & kind but sadly, stupidly, I stayed away. Upon my return, I was not scolded or admonished, I was welcomed & well cared for. I can tell dental horror stories but I will refrain from doing so here. Needless to say, I've had the best as well as the absolute worst!!! When I got home that evening I told my Aunt, I've just been to see the best dentist in the world!!! He had to pull my tooth! Now, I have to make sure I take care of the site to be sure it heals up OK!!! Of course my compliments must include Dr McNurlen's Dental Assistant, Joey who guided me completely through the aftercare procedures. She explained everything completely & how & why it was important. Her care for me was genuine & very much appreciated!!! Her demonstrations of how to fold the gauze square showed to me her concern for my well being!!! Dr McNurlen & his staff achieved & earned an A+++++++ from me for their kindness & professional care & concern for my health & overall well being. Needless to say, as of one weeks time since the extraction, I have not had any need for pain pills or any other types of numbing down because, I am following Joey's instructions & consequently thankfully have experienced no problems whatsoever!!! Great Job Dr McNurlen & Joey!!!

I am a new patient at Smiles for Life. When I arrived at Smiles for Life I was greeted with a smile and was taken back for my appointment in less than five minutes. Dr. Robert McNurlen has a very kind nature, he explained every step of my treatment..His staff are Exceptional at making you feel comfortable in addition to being very skilled at their positions. The same staff member that greeted me with a smile when I arrived also explained my insurance benefits which was a Tremendous help in making decisions about future treatments. Thank you Dr McNurlen and staff. I am a happy Smile for Life patient.

All positive experiences at this office. Both my kids and I see Dr. Austin Steil and everything he has done has been great and I feel valued and well cared for. Truly as good as a dental experience can be.

Always a great experience! Dr. McNurlen has been my dentist for about 17 years - he’s always been personable, caring and professional. My hygienist, Ina is awesome and takes great care with my cleanings and maintenance schedule. Truly all of the staff have been so wonderful all these years! Highly recommend for families of all ages and stages!
