Dr. Shaw & his staff listen and help me understand the whys of a procedure vs. another. They are also good about informing costs upfront, working with my insurance. Called me this a.m. and was able to get me in sooner than expected which I appreciated and pry saved my tooth.

I was scheduled for a cleaning on the 24th had to canceled but they were able to get me today. Visit went well as usually. I have one of the best hygienist and dentist in the city of Des Moines Ia. Dr Shaw you are number 1 in my book

First time going to this dental office and honestly, it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had when it comes to dental care! It was incredibly easy setting up the appointment which is always something I can appreciate. Once I got to the office for my appointment, I was taken back to a room almost immediately, barely any wait time! My dental hygienist was very friendly, quite funny, and made the whole experience very enjoyable, meaningful, and honestly memorable; fun stories were shared, lots of giggles (even with my mouth gaping open while work was being done lmao), and at times I almost forgot I was even getting my teeth cleaned because it started to feel like a hangout session with a friend. When the dentist came in at the end to check my teeth out, that was real cool too—he was kind, pretty funny as well, and just had a great vibe! Everything felt very genuine from the moment I walked in and that kind of care is the best kind of care. I highly recommend this office—these dentists and hygienists really do the damn thang, and they do it well!

I had been reluctant to find a new dentist after my old one retired. I'm thrilled with the service I was provided at dental associates. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Happy to have found my new Dentist!

Kelly was so pleasant to talk to and great and her job, really liked Dr Shaw, it was my first time there. Hannah is so sweet and helpful, and willing to take the time to answer your questions! See you all in 6 months!
