Arkansas Oculoplastic Surgery

My 3 week old has a droopy eyelid which I’m sure is PTOSIS. I’ve mentioned this to my pediatrician several times and he doesn’t seem to have any sense or urgency about it. So I took matters into my own hands. I called Arkansas Oculoplastic for any guidance. Bee and Dr. Brock were so helpful. Although, Dr. Brock can’t operate on my little one he recommended another surgeon. I’m very thankful for them and if I know of anyone with eye issues I’ll definitely be recommending Dr. Brock!

Dr. Brock is the best! 5 stars all around! Backstory- I am in my early 30s and have spent the last year of my life super insecure due to a droopy eyelid. I was unbelievably nervous to go to Dr. Brock because I knew surgery was the answer, but all I could think was, “It’s my eye, my face! What if he messes it up?” Fast forward to overcoming my anxiety of even a consult… Going to Dr. Brock was the best decision I could have made! He’s not just a plastic surgeon, but an oculoplastic surgeon. His specialty was apparent in his approach, making sure he thoroughly examined my eyes and chose which surgery would be best. He is very personable, explained everything in depth, answered all my questions, and made me feel confident in him. A month after my consult, I had a ptosis repair by internal approach by Dr. Brock. I left my quick procedure feeling great about my eyelid. It didn’t bruise and I had very little swelling, which shows just how good of a job Dr. Brock did! To be transparent here, I did have concerns at first as my eyes tried to even out post-surgery. Dr. Brock reassured me that we needed to give my eyes & brain time (he always told me we would wait 4 weeks before making any further decisions because that’s how long I needed to heal) and what do you know? He was right! By 3 weeks post op, my eyes were just how I wanted them! I am so happy! Because of Dr. Brock and his team, I am finally back to feeling myself, wearing my eyeliner & not feeling like everyone is staring at my uneven eyes! THANK YOU DR. BROCK!!
