Springhill Dental: Shearer Ryan DDS

Firstly,I absolutely love Dr Shearer and his staff have always been amazing to me.They have been caring for my dental needs for several years, however.. my work insurance which covered my dental needs unexpectedly, due to a recent health emergency.. changed (Mid-Process) after getting all of my top teeth pulled by Springhill Dental and being given the Temporary Denture to wear until my gums healed. I have been wearing the Temporary Denture for 7.5 months and it NO longer fits.. it gags me, slips terribly and is just a horrible fit since my gums have healed from the extractions.. Issue is..Springhill Dental WILL NOT accept my current insurance so they will not continue with my permanent dentures to Replace the ill-fitting temporary one.. even though I was assured back in January that they would definently finish my denture job,although they no longer honored my work insurance since they had started it. I learned today that MOST dentists will Not work on dentures for teeth that have been extracted by a different dentist (due to insurance paying for it during extraction) so now I will be paying a different dentist approx $1600 out of pocket for a permanent top denture so I can eat and talk normally again. I'm recently permanently disabled and on limited income so this is a tough pill to swallow. They did however offer to reline the current temp denture with a new liner as needed. Nice,but I kind of need them to fit my mouth,so unfortunately,I've had to make other arrangements. *Extremely Disappointed Long Time Patient.

The hygienist that clean my teeth was very gentle and thorough! She made me feel at ease and actually enjoyed having my teeth cleaned It was awesome! Of course Dr Shearer is always easy to talk to about my dental care. The office staff is friendly and efficient so I'm very pleased with my visit!!

Great cleaning experience! My family and I were Dr. Bass’s clients before he retired. My twin sons grew up with him taking care of our dental needs for more that 25 years. Dr. Shearer and his staff have made the transition to a new dentist extremely easy! The staff is professional and friendly. The hygienist did a thorough cleaning today and Dr. Shearer gave my teeth and gums his stamp of good health until my next cleaning.

I took my 14 year old and my 20 month old to have their teeth cleaned. I've done this once before at a different dentist's office (a pediatric dentist's office, no less)and it's not something you look forward to. Dr. Shearer's office was happy to accommodate me, booking two appointments back to back so my younger son could watch his older brother go first. The staff was so nice and made the whole experience painless! Much more pleasant than my first try at the other place. Dr. Shearer was nice and informative. Great experience!! We've found our new family dentist!!

Dr. Ryan Shearer and his staff are utterly AMAZING!!! Such caring compassionate care in a fun atmosphere! From the front desk to the chair, they are all FABULOUS! 2 crowns in 1 day! NO PAIN! He makes sure you're comfortable! If you don't have a regular dentist, If you don't go get your teeth cleaned every 6 months, GO SEE DR RYAN SHEARER DDS! He's GREAT!!
