I've been a patient here for a little over two years, and I am so thankful to have found Sarah and her team. When I started my journey, I'd hit a wall with my doctors after struggling for most of my life with endometriosis and a body that was stressed out and exhausted from years of uphill battle compensating for all of the things that weren't being addressed adequately. I'd gained a significant amount of weight and was starting to get stuck in the cycle of adding medications to medications to deal with the side effects of the medications without really seeing my health improve. After a frustrating appointment with my doctor who blamed all of my issues on my weight (even though I'd had these issues before gaining weight), a friend from work gave me Sarah's information. I was admittedly a bit skeptical after a lifetime of being dismissed, but from the first conversation I had with Sarah, she actually listened to me and validated me. She never blamed any of this on my weight or on me for not taking good enough care of myself. She never shrugged and said "Oh well, it's part of being a woman. Take some ibuprofen and try these birth control pills." When we had my first lab review, and I cried through the results because the explanations for some of the most painful parts of my journey showed up in those labs, Sarah processed it with me, and then we got to work. With supplements, hormone balance, gut repair, and peptide therapy over the past couple of years, my body has truly transformed. I have more energy, am more active, and don't live with constant pain anymore. I've also lost the weight I gained while my body was struggling. I feel more at home in my body than I have in years. I still have a chronic condition that doesn't have a cure, but it's controlled now, instead of controlling me. What I didn't have before was a provider who is proactive instead of reactive, and I believe that's made all the difference. I've been able to take Sarah's recommendations at the pace that I was comfortable with, and she's never pushed or guilted me if I needed to think about a recommendation before acting on it. I do still have a tendency to just press on through the few rough patches that come up (which are admittedly mild compared to what I've dealt with in the past), and Erica reminded me at a recent visit that I don't need to do that anymore. I promise, I'll get better about calling for help for the acute stuff, too :) I'm glad this place has become a part of my journey and cannot thank Sarah and the team enough believing me and for taking amazing care of me.

After 8 years of several doctors and OBGYN telling me nothing was wrong, I came to Balanced Health with many concerns about my health......I thank god I did! After doing blood work and poop test Sarah found the issues and we got started on a plan. I am finally feeling like myself again and feeling healthier than ever. This journey is not a quick fix, it is a lifestyle change. I highly recommend Balanced Health and their team! I truly appreciate everything they have done for me!

I was a patient of Sarah’s at Balanced Health for several years and initially experienced thoughtful, supportive care that genuinely helped my health. It’s also worth noting- I spent thousands of dollars out of my own pocket because they don’t accept or file any insurance. Over the past year, however, my experience changed significantly. I was dismissed from the practice while actively following a supplement protocol they prescribed, involving many supplements and a substantial financial investment. This occurred after I requested to speak with a second nurse to clarify questions and side effects that had developed from the supplements over time. The dismissal felt abrupt and lacked appropriate discussion or transition, which raised concerns for me around communication, safety and continuity of care. Since then, I’ve spoken with others who describe similar dismissals, sadly suggesting this may reflect a broader shift in how patient relationships are handled as the practice has grown. This practice may still be a good fit for some, but I would encourage prospective patients to ask clear questions upfront about communication, access to providers, and how care transitions are handled so you won’t be blindsided like I was after spending thousands of dollars and then being dismissed.

If you’re searching for a solution to your chronic problem(s), and you’ve found yourself here. Stay. I came to Sarah very honestly doubtful she could help me. I was wrong. In short, I had serious stomach issues that was becoming inhibiting of everyday life. In trusting Sarah’s diagnosis and treatment plan, my life has fully turned around for the better. When you have a referral based business in medicine that is this consistently booked, there’s a reason. It works.

I was recommended to Balanced Health because of a rising PSA. All my friends I’ve grown up with (I’m 64 year old male) were having prostate issues. None of my friends were told why all the sudden everyone around our age group were having prostate issues. I was told next was a biopsy of the prostate. They go in and take samples of the prostate, some of the stories of bloody urine for 3 weeks after I just couldn’t understand. Why. My friend suggested BHC and see Sarah. Since the threat of cancer they got me right in. I went through a blood screening and the North Star liquid biopsy was taken through blood test. The results were an even higher PSA, Sarah explained to me of Leaky Gut along with other issues. I was put on a plan of Vitamins ( not over the counter) and powders that would help heal my gut. 2 weeks later my left knee swelled, I did nothing I thought that would have caused this. Sarah got me in on a Saturday to inject peptides and Ozone gas in the joint. 2 weeks later I had Exosomes injected. I was told to workout the muscles around the knee to help. I had considered knee replacement because of the pain. 10 months later my PSA is on the way down, my knee is 95% healed with no pain, and my guts have never felt better. I am gluten free diet with 11 to 7 fasting as recommended. Sarah and the staff are wonderful caring people. Note (I lost my gallbladder 13 years prior to this. Sarah explained why!)
