Happy Halloween! You know what's not scary at all? Going to the dentist at Brighter Image Dentistry! Dr. Maddox and his entire team are wonderful and make each visit a pleasant and relaxing experience. I had my last appointment earlier this month. My hygienist, Cherese, has a gentle hand and answered all of my questions clearly! She is wonderful! I also needed repair of two small chips in my front teeth. Dr. Maddox and his incredible assistant Hayley fixed my chipped teeth quickly and with no discomfort or pain! If you're looking for a dentist, stop looking! Go see Dr. Maddox and his amazing team at Brighter Image!

The team at Brighter Image dentistry was extremely warm & welcoming! I called them to see if they were accepting new patients & Priscilla was the nicest, most accommodating person I could have ever hoped to talk to! She was understanding of my anxieties and assured me that they would take that into consideration. As soon as I walked into their office I was comfortable, and everyone there was very nice and welcoming. They let me know what they were doing as it was happening so that I wasn't left in the dark. They are the best and I'm thankful that I found them! I highly recommend to anyone who is anxious about visiting the dentist, because they are truly the nicest people I've ever met in the dental field. Update: Dr. Maddox was a great dentist for a few years. His staff is really friendly and the work he did was outstanding initially. My last visit there was after he put a crown on that shifted my bite and caused me significant jaw pain and caused my teeth to hit together when I ate. I asked to replace the crown, and he told me that there was no way it was the crown. He proceeded to ask me a series of rude questions. The conversation ended with him suggesting that I play the lottery so that if I won I could come back and he could “give me a beautiful smile.”

Dr. Maddox and his team are wonderful! I am from out of state and needed a trustworthy dentist in Birmingham and Brighter Image has been amazing. Every one of their staff is so welcoming and personable and has gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and provide answers to any questions that I've had. This has been so helpful and reassuring to have a trustworthy, dependable, and knowledgeable dentist with a staff that is so good at showing care for patients. I highly recommend!

I visited Brighter Image Dentistry for a routine appointment to have my teeth cleaned and x-rays. It was a great experience and the staff were all incredibly friendly! My appointment got started on time and I was finished in about 45 minutes. Taylor, the dental assistant who worked with me, was great. She was very personable and made sure to explain everything she was doing and offer suggestions to me. I will definitely continue using Brighter Image and Dr. Maddox for future appointments!

Such an amazing experience from the moment you make your appointment. Dr. Maddox is wonderful and the nurses are fantastic and so sweet! The customer service is impeccable and unmatched. They pay attention to every detail and make you feel so comfortable. They really do an incredible job and my teeth have never looked nor felt better. I never thought I'd say this, but going to the dentist is now a pleasurable experience! It's obvious to see and comforting to know that they truly care.
