After researching dentist in three cities for my veneer process I decided to go with Dr. Buchanan at Greystone Smile Design and now that everything is complete I can say that I have zero regrets in my choice. The outcome is amazing and even better than I expected. Dr. Buchanan and his entire staff are top notch! Very professional, friendly and accommodating while providing a great atmosphere in a great facility! Highly Recommended! Thank you guys for a great experience!

THEY WILL MAKE YOU PAY FOR THINGS THEY ALSO CHARGE YOUR INSURANCE FOR - THIS IS INSURANCE FRAUD. I have waited to post my experience in hopes that Dr Buchanan would do the right thing yet that has not been done. I’ve been a patient of his for years even traveling from out of state to see him. On my last appointment with this office I asked them to schedule enough time to have a cleaning and a small dental procedure to repair a tooth as I am going through treatments and don’t have extra time for multiple visits. After my cleaning they advised me I would need to come back a couple hours later for the rest of my treatment. Imagine seeing a doctor, having them perform half the work and them telling you to come back later in the day to finish. Against my better judgment and upset In having to do so I did. When I left I was required to pay $140 and the rest billed to my insurance. The person who took my cash said they would send me a receipt but never did. Once I got my explanation of benefits it said I owed the practice $0. I politely contacted the office and asked them why I was charged when my insurance said they covered my treatment. The lady said she would look into it and call me back. Next thing I know I get a letter from Dr Buchanan dropping me as a patient. I simply questioned a bill and they drop you. This was extremely unsettling and at that point made me even more weary they were doing illegal billing. I called my insurance back and she assured me they are bound by their contracts and urged me to file an insurance fraud complaint with the insurance company and with the AL board of medical examiners. I instead contacted Dr Buchanan and simply asked for my money that was owned to me out of principle - which I have yet to receive. As I read through other reviews I see they have done the same to other people. I will be filing these complaints AND will wait for a check in full to be sent to me. If you do not want to be treated sub par and overcharged for your dental work I would highly recommend finding somewhere else. This office as told by my insurance company is clearly committing insurance fraud. I hope they are help accountable to the highest extent of the law.

We literally gasped aloud when reading the reviews written because it was EXACTLY what happened to us. SHORT & SIMPLE we liked that actual dentist as he was always super KIND & gentle. We had some problems with fillings, but other work was excellent— however, WE REFUSED to go back after realizing after repeated and we mean REPEATED occurrences the front desk staff was OVERCHARGING our insurance as well as slipping in miscellaneous charges to our billing. We indirectly ADDRESSED IT numerous times. WE WORK IN HEALTHCARE PEOPLE!!!! We CAUGHT THIS EARLY ON and gave multiple instances outside of our initial realization to avoid repeating this without DIRECTLY accusing them of INSURANCE FRAUD! It was INSURANCE FRAUD! The doctor himself may or may not be COMPLETELY AWARE of CERTAIN front desk staff’s actions— but we can assure you in our personal experience this was NOT a mistake but a pattern of deliberate actions.

Greystone Smile Design is simply outstanding. Dr. Buchanan and his team are exceptionally skilled and professional. It is hard to imagine finding a better dentist.
