Essenmacher Family Dental: Lindsay Essenmacher, DDS

I went in today in excruciating pain. They were able to get me in quickly. I don’t have insurance but was able to get in on an introductory plan. Dr Essenmacher was very kind understanding and informative She relieved most of the pain until I could see the specialist she referred me to the next day. Her calm and attentive demeanor settled all anxst I had. Her attention to detail is appreciative. The whole staff is very kind and welcoming. Highly professional yet empathetic . This is the dentist you want.

I had an amazing experience at Essenmacher Family Dental. The entire team treated me with genuine kindness and care and truly went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of. I’ve never experienced a dental office like this before. The quality of their work is outstanding, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist who really cares about their patients.

Best dentist/dental cleaning I've ever had hands down. I used to be told that I had "A+ teeth" that didn't need a lot of cleaning; but when I started coming here I feel like my teeth and gums get a deep clean every time. My teeth feel so smooth; they recommended sealant on a couple molars without me having to ask (I had been asking my previous dentist about that for years and they said it wasn't needed despite food getting stuck in my molars); and they're just the kindest most friendly bunch of folks I've ever met. I cannot recommend this office highly enough.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this dental office. My family and I waited three months for an appointment, and during that time, our appointments were repeatedly canceled by the office with excuses like the dentist not being available. We were also placed on a waitlist and would receive texts saying an appointment was open, but when I responded immediately, they would say it was already filled, often with a dismissive attitude. When our long-awaited appointment finally came around, I called to reschedule because my dental insurance had changed due to a job situation. I politely asked if we could move it to the following week. I was told that rescheduling was not allowed and that I would be charged an $80 late fee. I found this extremely unfair considering the office had canceled on us multiple times without consequence. When I expressed my concern about the double standard, I was met with rudeness and was ultimately told that we were no longer welcome there. The level of unprofessionalism, especially from the manager, was just shocking. She was rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to work with us. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for respectful, reliable care.

I’ve moved a lot and been to many dentists. Lindsay Essenmacher is the most talented, efficient, and delicate dentist I’ve experienced, especially since I have an extra small mouth. She treats her staff with respect and you can tell this office is a happy one. I’m grateful and appreciative to be a patient to such a gem in ABQ.
