I recently had the opportunity to visit Peppermint Dental located on Montgomery Blvd in Albuquerque, NM, and it was my first experience at this practice. I am pleased to share that the level of service I received was exemplary, demonstrating the highest standards of professionalism and customer care. Upon arrival, I checked in at the front desk, where I was warmly welcomed by staff members Savannah and Vess. Their courteous and respectful demeanor left a lasting impression. Although I initially believed I had scheduled my appointment at this location, they diligently verified their records and confirmed that I was not on their schedule. They reassured me that this was not an issue and promptly accommodated my needs, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to patient care. I was guided to the treatment area, where I met the dental assistant and Dr. Ketan P. Both provided services with remarkable proficiency, kindness, and attentiveness. Dr. Ketan P was particularly professional, knowledgeable, gentle, and compassionate throughout the procedure. Similarly, the dental assistant displayed exceptional skill and care, reflecting a dedicated team effort. I highly recommend this dental practice, especially this location and its staff, to anyone seeking quality dental care. Their commitment to patient satisfaction and excellence is truly commendable. My only regret is not expressing my appreciation sooner—my experience was so positive that I feel compelled to share it now. I am deeply grateful to the entire team for their exceptional care, especially given my circumstances. Every staff member I encountered demonstrated genuine dedication and professionalism. I extend my sincere appreciation for their outstanding service and reaffirm my confidence in their practice.

I'm giving a five star for (THE WORST TREATMENT YOU CAN RECEIVE from a unprofessional front office.) I was referred to this office by a family member and had heard good things about them. I usually check reviews before i go anywhere new, I didn't this time. BIG BIG BIG mistake! Always check reviews especially the negative ones this office has several awful and pathetic negative reviews and I can concur, there is some serious problems there, especially with insurance claims, billing and referrals to network doctors. Basic front desk operation is poor. Click and read all of the negative reviews, its true what former patients are claiming. Be fore warned this front office is very incompetent. I went in to have one tooth removed, and they erroneously referred me for 4 teeth to be removed. If, I hadn't questioned it , 4 perfectly good teeth would have been removed. I had to get the referred Surgeons's office to call peppermint to confirm that it was an error, All while I was in tremendous pain. They never acknowledge the error nor apologized for it. Their billing is questionable too. Yikes! They hide the bad reviews on here and just put up the good to make you think that they are better than they are. Check out the bad reviews because it will save you from despair and disappointment. You'll know who you are really dealing with. Savannah is very poor communicator lacking professionalism who is curt and aggressively rude. She is very incompetent and not a match for a professional front office, along with Amanda. I received a temporary tooth for a crown that keeps falling out they have been paid. Buyer beware that when this office sends out letters to patients to max out you dental coverage before year end there is going to be a major surprise put up on you and you wont like it! Don't do it is my recommendation, if you do check the billing! When you go to any of these offices and you use medical/dental insurance ALWAYS CHECK THE CLAIMS THE DOCTORS OFFICE SEND IN to your insurance company, especially if you are Medicaid/Medicare you'll be totally surprised at what they do! Its shameful that competency is gone in these offices. Protect yourself! This office needs an investigation for billing practices. If you have concerns contact New Mexico Healthcare Authority or New Mexico Senior Medicare Patrol for support. to file a complaint contact New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Dept. or The New Mexico Dental Board or if its about insurance the Office of Superintendent of Insurance Government office in Santa Fe. Stay Safe! Vengeance is mine, I will repay, say's the Lord Jesus Christ Romans 12:19

For my first visit I thought that it was a great place they treated me and my daughter really well Dr.Petal was up beat very friendly and gave me a gift card cause it was my birthday. The hygienist took her time cleaning my teeth. But on my second visit totally different experience they were rushed on my teeth. And when Dr.Petel came I got no greeting he then scolded the lady who took X-rays which they already had. I also just was trying to mention too that his other patient was my daughter He tell ok I haven’t been to that room yet. He was short and like bothered that he had to deal with another patient it was so weird. The whole vibe in the office had so much tension. And then tells me of all these additional issues that he said he told me about in our 1st visit which he did not at all so I told him wow In just 6 months your saying I have more issue with my teeth? He tell me I needed a root canal on my other tooth and my fills needed treatment which he never said that before. Even the endodontist I had see said my other teeth were fine.He rudely tells me well this is the treatment plan we discussed i gave you a referral for an oral surgeon which you didn’t do. ( he never gave me a referral to an oral surgeon). I looked at him and said you know what you were a lot nicer the first time I meet you. I don’t know what going on today but I am not interested in you working on my teeth I would like to take my business somewhere else. Not only was he rude to me he continued to be rude to he staff in front of me. I was like nope this place has bad vibes. I feel like they more so wanted to get more money out of my insurance by filing a bunch of claims that were unnecessary. I would recommend not going to this place!

I called seeking same day cleaning at 10 am and got an appointment at 11:30 am. I arrived, was received and x-rayed immediately by a young x-ray technician, who humored my friendly questions and perspectives . Then I was seated and given glasses and a bib to cover me with dignity for an oft messy annual cleaning and polishing. It had been two years since my last visit, because I had a few rescheduled appointments and forfeit my advanced appointment privilege. The dental hygienist shared insights from her career focus and autonomous studies: I learned that I still have some molars from around 5 or 6 years of age, and that enamel doesn’t always just wear out. I learned that the enamel is one of the hardest materials in anatomy that the body makes and it is advise able to swish water between meals to keep my teeth clean. Her well measured responses and the economy in her movements were meticulous, intelligent, and explanatory. She scaffolded my previous understandings on enamel presence, hardness attributes, and protection. The cleaning was effortless but thorough and orchestrated as we had a friendly discussion about the micro-motorskills of cursive handwriting. Interesting professional attributes for a hygienist, or a tool guilding artisan very well. All things considered, the Peppermint Dental Staff offered an intelligent assessment of a medical and academic nature , all the while the assessment, cleaning, polishing, and floride treatment glistened along without any discomfort. The doctor and hygentist both recommended the avarice to acids in drinks, encouraged swishing water between meals and the laudable qualities of salt water use in the waterpick, as a way to scrub. I don’t think I’ll ever be accustomed to using a wooden toothpick, bc I never learned, she agreed that she was not accustomed to using a wooden toothpick either, and it’s okay, that my enamel was still intact and I should continue with the healthy routines that I have employed thus far in my domestic dental care, and I could use dental floss picks too. She polished my teeth, in order to remove stains and hard plaque buildup, which there was none. My visit to Dr Patel’s practice was more informative and instructional then I have ever experienced in any other dental clinic and for that and the personable familiar treatment, I give the highest accolades. High-fives and flying chest-pops. A great team and a World Series Performance! Thanks Giofreddo, Peace. Happiness!
