ABQ Uptown Dentists

My experience with ABQ Uptown Dentists has been consistently fabulous. I had what seemed like an emergency when I called at 8:10 am today -- and Ashley at the front desk said they had an opening at 8:50! Wow! I took that appointment and met with Kimberly, who gave me fantastic care at my last cleaning. She did an initial exam, took some xrays, and then called in Dr. Preber to evaluate the situation and recommend a course of action. Dr. Preber was kind, reassuring, personable and friendly. One of the things I most appreciate about this office is the longevity of the staff -- I met Kimberly in 2019, and she is still there, and I worked with Ashley at my last visit. That speaks to harmony and a great work culture. There is no revolving door of staff. While going to the dentist isn't generally my favorite thing to do, when I need care from ABQ Uptown Dentists, I keep my appointments with confidence that no only will the care be competent, but compassionate too. I highly recommend this practice!

Today I had my first visit with ABQ Dentists Uptown, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a dental practice. From the moment I walked in, the receptionist was friendly and welcoming. My appointment started on time, and Melissa the dental assistant could not have been nicer and more professional. She took time to review my x-rays with me, and explained everything that was going on with my teeth. I actually learned a few things about dentistry in the process. The dentist, Dr. Preber, was also amazing. She was friendly and professional and explained everything that was currently going on in my mouth. I have an issue with one of my teeth, and Dr. Preber gave me a couple of treatment options. Rather than pushing the more expensive option, she suggested a more conservative treatment that would resolve the issue, but be less costly. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Preber and her staff and I highly recommend this practice to anyone who has had a less than stellar experience with other dentists.

My kids (6 and 2) had a great experience at this office today. The dental hygienist, James, was very patient and kind and made them feel comfortable right away. Dr. Preber was also wonderful and very knowledgeable. Everything was handled professionally, and you can tell they really care. Highly recommend for families.

When I called this morning to set up an appointment, I was thinking I would not get in till at least March or April due to it being the end of the year and they were probably booked. Well, anyway, the young lady who answered was able to get me in this morning Which was great. My new Hygienist was named James. He was fantastic. I really appreciate the great service. I always receive when I go to see Dr. Preber/. she is a wonderful Dentest and I really appreciate everything she does for me every time I go into see her. James thank you for the great cleaning. I really appreciate it. I hope neither one of you are going anywhere soon because I plan on going back to see you guys in April. Thank you again. Happy new year

James was great to work with. He definitely educated me on things that could benefit me on my oral care. Getting my teeth cleaned is not necessarily something I look forward to. James made the experience super tolerable and was great to work with. Definitely know his stuff!
