From the moment I walked into Skin & Tonic, I just felt comfortable. Not the luxury-spa kind of comfortable — but the REAL kind. The kind where you almost wonder, how do they know exactly what I’m dealing with? Everything they said felt so on point. You can truly tell they love what they do. The knowledge, the passion, the care it all shows. This was honestly the best facial/spa service I’ve ever had. I felt completely taken care of. I saw June, and she has the softest, most calming presence. The entire experience felt intentional and deeply relaxing. I left with my skin noticeably brighter but more than that, I left feeling refreshed & relaxed. I will absolutely be back. 🤍 Oh I might add that I booked last min day off and still had this experience.

I had a very bad experience a year ago. They were recommended to me. I set up an appointment for a regular facial. I explained my skin issues and that I am allergic to rosewater. At my appointment I was assured that that they knew ‘of my needs and that all had been disinfected for my facial. During my facial it was recommended that I get a derma-planing. I explained that I couldn’t afford to pay more. It was offered to me at no additional charge. I opted to get the derma-planing. Before leaving I decided to buy the skin products they recommended. I arrived home and my face became red and irritated. I called them and was told that some irritation was normal. I was told to use one of their products to calm my skin. My face began burning and became inflamed. So, I contacted them again. I was told to wait for my skin my to calm down and to keep them posted. If it still didn’t improve they said they would like to look at my skin again. In the interim I looked at the ingredients on the bottles. I saw that one of them contains rosewater. I contacted them and was told that they were sorry and that it was an easy mistake to make. I was invited to come back so that they could help. I said I was no longer felt comfortable with having them work on my face. They said that they would do it for me free of charge. They didn’t understand why I wouldn’t come in since I wouldn’t be charged. After much time texting back and forth that is all they would do for me. I filed a depute for the charge with my bank. This took a ton of my time because proof was necessary. In the end I only received a refund only for their products. I had to go to another place for a facial and buy new products from them. I was told that the redness and irritation I experienced is not normal and that sometimes the esthetician can get a little heavy handed when performing a derma-planing. The new esthetician worked to calm my skin. I had her look at their products and asked her opinion. I decided to upgrade to their products.
