Salt Lake Dermatology and Aesthetics

This was one of the most professional doctors visits I have experienced. The appointment started on time and after the tech collected some basic information, the doc was in to see me. Cost was 1/3 of what I was quoted in Atlanta.

My late wife and I have known the founder of the firm—Leo Soteriu since the 1970s. Leo worked quickly—while I was getting dressed I could hear him recording his notes. While waiting for a shot to numb he would ask about my family and tell me about his. As I entered the parking lot, I would look for his automobile—a two-door Mercedes SL. I loved looking at that car! When I realized his son, Michael would be returning to SLC, I figured they would make a great team. Recently, after being diagnosed with a nasty form of cancer, I sold my home in Nevada and returned to Salt Lake for treatments. Nine months later the treatments did a number on my skin. There would no other choice for a Dermatologist. Dr. Michael Sotiriou. He and his efficient staff waisted no time attending to my needs. Michael is a chip off the old block. I highly recommend this team for Dermatology and Aesthetics,

It’s a beautiful office with very helpful staff. Dr. Sotiriou was on time and efficient with my appointment. He answered my questions and provided excellent medical care. Overall a very pleasant experience.

I've been seeing Dr. Michael Sotiriou for a few years now, and I'm always impressed with the care I receive every visit. All staff members are thorough and friendly, Dr. Sotiriou genuinely cares about his patients and listens to my concerns always, and I also appreciate how clean the practice is! Thank you!

I posted this a few days ago and received a reply from this office accusing me of being dishonest regarding the times i mentioned i walked in and walked out. They ended their reply with “we are glad you left.” I would love to invite the truth to be revealed. The intent of my post was to highlight how long i waited with no apology nor communication from the staff. If i was off a few minutes I will absolutely own that. I give this office my permission to release the video recording of me and my wife in the lobby and especially of their receptionist “walking up to me in the lobby after waiting for 30 minutes.”. That is a complete lie. Wow!! I walked up to her, looked over the counter and explained why i was cancelling. It’s on video :) Please release the video footage. I recall Only my wife and i were sitting in your lobby at that point so you have both our permissions to release this video. I think it’s important. Very disappointing experience as a first time patient. this office is quite disorganized. I spent a lot of time uploading my intake forms prior to my visit and when I arrived, they didn’t have anything loaded into their system. They asked me to show up 15 minutes early, which is standard practice in healthcare. I waited 45 minutes with no interaction from the office staff nor from the physician. I think this is the part that bothered me the most. Two women were sitting at the counter and recognized that I had been sitting in the waiting room as the only patient for over 45 minutes with no conversation about why there was a delay. They spent most of their time just talking to each other. I finally approached the counter and told him that I was going to search elsewhere. I’m very glad that I left and found a better provider.
