We’ve visited this bathhouse several times before and have always had a good experience, which is why this visit was surprising and disappointing. This was probably our third or fourth time coming. During this visit, two women were loudly talking the entire time. They were having full conversations in the dry sauna, and when we moved to the steam room to get away from it, the talking continued there as well. At one point they were discussing personal matters about people from their church, including someone named Jessica, and it completely changed the atmosphere from a quiet spa environment into something that felt more like a social hangout. We ended up avoiding the pool because the talking never stopped. We made several requests to staff asking if they could please remind the guests that the sauna and steam rooms are meant to be quiet spaces, but nothing changed. Moreover, when we mentioned our experience to the staff, their response was disappointing. They told us that as long as the talking wasn’t bothering customers receiving foot massages in the reflexology area, it wasn’t really considered a problem. That response felt dismissive and ignored the fact that the sauna and steam rooms are typically expected to be quiet, relaxing spaces. Allowing loud conversations to continue without addressing them completely changes the atmosphere that most guests come to a FIKA for.

I loved the ambiance and I felt like the chair and set up was very tranquil and relaxing! My only complaint was I book a 30 minute foot reflexology appointment thinking I was getting a 30 minute foot massage, but it ended up being like 10 minutes or less. Granted, the scalp and shoulder massage was nice! But I would think that would be a quick intro and then dive into a 30 minute foot session. The masseuse stepped away to get the hot stones, which took a while. Then proceeded to do one leg longer than the other. One of the most enjoyable parts was after she used a hot towel on my feet and legs to get the lotion off. After she dried them, so pounded my calf muscles and bottoms of feet. I would have loved more of that. When I think of foot reflexology, I think of the traditional spots where they do lots of different maneuvers to relieve the tension we carry in our feet. Overall, it was a nice experience and I would return. But I’d like more of it to be feet focused if that’s what i’m booking. Also, the front desk staff could have more customer service skills. They were nice, but sort of lacked those skills a bit. Some positives I’d like to mention is the chairs were a very luxurious comfortable set up. I like how you get in and then they tilt it back and add a leg attachment to support your legs while they massage you. I also liked the warm neck support they put under your neck and the warm blanket they put on you. This location also features a cold and hot plunge along with a steam room and sauna. Definitely something I would be trying in the future! The lobby has some candy, refreshments with water and yummy scented lotions you can sample.

The more appropriate name should be relaxology as there was zero reflexology that occurred. The experience was enjoyable- the music, the comfortable chair, the warm blanket, the weighted blanket, the foot scrub, the head rub, the shoulder rub, the endless oil rubbed on my feet. However there wasn’t a single pressure point touched. If you go, go with the expectation that you will be cozy and relaxed. But there will be no therapeutic massage. I was very disappointed about that. I bought my mom and dad a giftcard for their anniversary a year ago but sadly my dad passed away a few days later so they were not able to use it. It’s taken my mom a year to finally have the mindset to go and she asked me to go with her. I know she would have benefited from reflexology but that is not what they offer here.

Upon arrival, the foot soak was started immediately, but the water was only lukewarm and quickly turned cold, which made it hard to relax from the beginning. I also added the scalp treatment for an additional $10. Compared to similar services I’ve had elsewhere, this felt very minimal — oil was drizzled onto my hair, leaving it quite oily when I left, and the scalp massage itself was mostly done with a metal tool rather than hands, with very little actual massage. The massage overall was the biggest disappointment. It didn’t feel therapeutic or intentional, and many of the movements focused on bony areas (tops of feet, hands, and behind the ears) rather than muscle or tissue, which ended up feeling uncomfortable rather than relaxing. I also felt cold throughout the service, and a blanket would have made a big difference. For the price point, I was hoping for a more professional, restorative experience. The shared space with only a curtain divider also took away from the sense of privacy and relaxation I was expecting. I truly wanted to love this place, as the aesthetics are beautiful, but the service itself didn’t align with the cost. For future massages, I’ll likely return to a certified reflexologist or a spa that offers a more therapeutic approach. Overall, it was a bummer, especially since I had high hopes going in.

Fika Reflexology Bar in Riverton is such a fun and unique experience! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming, relaxing, and beautifully designed. The reflexology itself is amazing—so soothing and refreshing, and you leave feeling completely reset. What really makes Fika special is how fun it is to go with a group of friends. It’s the perfect place to catch up, relax together, and treat yourselves to something a little different than the usual spa day. Definitely don’t skip the **Hydrobar add-on**—it takes the whole experience to the next level and makes it feel extra luxurious. Highly recommend Fika Reflexology Bar for a girls’ day, a special treat, or anytime you want to unwind and have fun with friends. I’ll definitely be back!
