Fika Reflexology Bar

Having loved the Pleasant Grove Fika location, I came into this visit with high expectations, but this was, unfortunately, a completely different experience. Let me start by saying: I wouldn’t return to this location. It wasn’t terrible, but it had enough strange and frustrating moments that it took away from what should have been a deeply relaxing experience. We booked the 90-minute session instead of the 60-minute one because we’d left the last Fika floating on air. That turned out to be mistake #1. They seemed to run out of techniques and just kept going back to rubbing my feet again and again. Instead of building on the relaxation, it became repetitive and at times, even irritating. The biggest frustration came when my therapist repeatedly tickled my toes after I’d made it clear it wasn’t working for me. I said something, I kicked a little to signal it tickled, and she’d pause… only to start doing it again moments later. It was like being pulled in and out of relaxation. Worse, she would leave for long stretches easily 5–10 minutes, multiple times. When you book 90 minutes, you expect it to feel extended and indulgent, not filled with gaps where you’re sitting there wondering when they’ll come back. And then there was the chair. Something about it was loose, and every time she bumped it, it would rock back and forth several inches. When you’re blindfolded and under a blanket, your body loses spatial awareness, so instead of relaxing, I felt dizzy and uneasy, like I might tip over. I came hoping for peace and left feeling frustrated, even a little angry. It wasn’t that I didn’t know what to expect; it just didn’t meet the standard set by the other Fika location. I left wondering if it was “just me” but then my wife felt the same way, asking me afterward if it had “made me bothered too”. We both left more exhausted than restored. I wanted to love it. I really did. Fika has something special, but this location missed the mark. I hope this feedback helps them recapture the consistency and magic that makes their other spas so exceptional.

This place is so cute! The aesthetics and the setup is so beautiful and thought out. I got the 60 minute with the free weighted blanket add on. They start out rubbing your feet and move up to your head, then arms and hands. I thought it was good as I don’t know if these are licensed massage therapists. I took off a star because we pay for 60 minutes but they took us back a bit late and I feel like there was a large lag and set up between areas. For example, moving from my feet to my head took what felt like a full 2 minutes between contact, not including the setup time. I seriously wonder if my therapist was checking their phone or something… overall it just didn’t feel like I got the full 60 minutes that were paid for. However, I would definitely go back.

This place blew our expectations out of the water! We booked the 90 min couples massage and left feeling absolutely incredible. They really take their time with the massage, and the zero-gravity chair & weighted blanket really added to the experience. We had a few additional add ons, like the scalp massage and heated eye masks, which elevated the whole experience even more. The waiting room is clean and cozy, and you will leave feeling 100000xs better than when you arrived. We can’t wait to book another massage soon!

The concept of this place is amazing and the execution was fabulous. I will definitely be back and have already recommended it to friends. They got me in last minute due to a cancellation and I was thrilled. My therapist was really great. Excellent pressure and technique. My only feedback is that I loved her foot massage until I felt her long fingernails. Maybe that is a personal preference, but it did take away from the service.

Had an amazing experience!!! Definitely worth getting the 90 minutes. Had a wonderful massage, the service and employees are kind and attentive, and the add ons were nice. The space is calm and inviting. Is it possible to buy the chairs? Because I would. We will be back!
