I recently went in for a facelift consult with Dr. James Manning at Utah Facial Plastics and mentioned that I’d had an eyebrow transplant a year ago with another surgeon, and wasn’t happy with the results. Dr. Manning immediately offered to do a touch-up and add more hairs to give me the fuller, more natural look I wanted. I had the procedure last week, and the entire experience was wonderful! From the very beginning, Dr. Manning was incredibly detailed and meticulous. He carefully selected donor hair from a specific area of my scalp because the hair texture and fineness there would match my brows perfectly, and he took precise measurements of my eyebrows—none of which was done during my first transplant. The difference in approach was night and day. Recovery has also been dramatically better this time. After the first procedure I had significant bruising and swelling that was really difficult to deal with. This time around I had only minimal swelling and zero bruising—just one week post-op and I already look and feel great. I’m so glad I gave it another shot with Dr. Manning. The level of care, expertise, and attention to detail was exceptional. Not all surgeons are the same, and Dr. Manning truly stands out. I couldn’t be happier with my results so far and would highly recommend him to anyone considering a hair restoration procedure.
