My experience with Hand and Stone Short Pump was top notch!! The facility was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly, accommodating and professional. I truly felt cared for. The entire experience was luxurious and I felt like "that woman" living the soft life. If you have not already had your spa day at Hand and Stone, sis what are you waiting for? Pamper yourself and go. You will not be disappointed!

My experience at Hand and Stone has been amazing. I have been going frequently, getting the Basic Facial from Jade, and she has been a great technician. She helps me understand my skin type and provides next steps each visit. I’ve seen a great improvement with the texture of my skin. I could not recommend Jade more!

I started coming to this Hand & Stone location earlier this year and have been going consistently every month since. It’s such a welcoming, clean, and relaxing environment for both facials and massages. Hailie does a fantastic job and always has me leaving feeling confident and refreshed. Since I’ve been seeing her, my skin has stayed hydrated and clear—she’s truly the best esthetician I’ve ever had! Hailie always makes sure I’m comfortable and happy with each facial appointment. I highly recommend booking with her, you won’t be disappointed!

I just received the best massage from Ms. Terri. The hot rocks massage have me feeling looser and ready for anything. I recommend you get a massage from Ms. Terri, you'll be feeling great afterward. Loose muscles and less tension will have you feeling ready to take on any challenge.

I work in the medical field and am contracted with a local hospital. Recently, I became a member of Sand and Stone where I live full time because of their all-around customer service and standard set. And was the expectation I would get when I would go to any of the Sand and Stones. The moment I arrived, the staff was polite as they stood behind the counter and offered an artificial watermelon-flavored drink, which was a nice touch. However, the appearance of the Cary town Sand and Stone location raised some concerns, as it was darkly lit and undergoing renovations, with paint cans and painter's tape visible, suggesting a need for a more inviting atmosphere. During my stone massage, the massage therapist was courteous and informed me about the robes and facial, but her experience as a massage therapist seemed limited. Her hands smelled like cigarettes, which affected the relaxation I was seeking. Applying stones typically involves dropping a towel to prevent scalding hot water from coming into direct contact with the stones, a technique I missed during this session. Additionally, there was about 10 minutes when the relaxing music stopped unexpectedly, which interrupted the calming environment. The esthetician was somewhat unprofessional in her presentation, with her midriff showing, and not introducing herself clearly, and rushing to prepare the room with minimal communication about where to place my clothes or how to proceed. When I was brought into the treatment room, she seemed hurried and behind schedule, which impacted the overall experience. The heating pads were set low, and attempts to increase their warmth were limited, raising concerns about comfort. The headband used to keep my hair away was too small, requiring multiple adjustments. The facial session was not very relaxing, partly because of rushed explanations and hurried movements. The esthetician asked about my skin care products, which I found intrusive at that moment, and continued to do so despite my discomfort. When applying products, she pulled my hair multiple times, which was uncomfortable. Despite requesting targeted pressure during the massage, it was not applied. Overall, I believe that with further attention to the environment, professionalism, and client comfort, the experience could be greatly improved. I hope these constructive suggestions help Sand and Stone enhance their service quality. I am eager to find a similar quality experience elsewhere, as I value consistent, premium customer service, and I work hard and look to places such as Sand and Stone to help me unwind and relax. I will not be returning to Cary Town Sand and Stone. And would not suggest to other medical professionals who have asked me about my experience.
